I used a hair dryer to apply and it worked well, it just takes time. Needed to water proof a ($55) remote to use around a hot tub. Seems to work and was super easy to apply. Tucked the tail into the bottom of the package before I heated it and it closed up tight. I was still able to push the recessed buttons on the remote (smart fire tv). It works fine through the plastic.

I bought these to protect my remote from wet damage (AKA drool/wet fingers). They do work well. Easy to shrink wrap with a hairdryer. Could have been a bit longer. I should have bought the bigger ones but it works. I was shrink wrapping my Rogers Ignite remotes and other remotes. Would recommend for anyone who wants to protect their remotes or wants to keep them clean.

I used one of these for a Xfinity remote on an outside TV and so far so good. It's been a couple months and the cover still looks great. The package contains 100 of these, that should last about 30 years lol.You put the remote in and hit it with a hair dryer. It almost instantly shrinks to fit. The end is open, so for me this isn't a water-proof fit, but I don't care, my remote is on a covered patio. Buttons still super easy to use as well.

Length of bags were accurate, but turned out to be a bit short for my remotes. This plastic is NOT like that found in zip-lock or sandwich bags (with the ability to stretch a bit). It's more like the cellophane found around individually wrapped peppermint or lifesaver candies. This reduces the sensory capacity of feeling around for the correct button without having to directly look at the remote.
