Yes totally as long as your guests aren't expecting normal choc chip cookies. I use them in my 4 ingredient oatmeal banana cookies I make for myself. 2. Bittersweet chocolate is processed chocolate that has added sugar, flavors, etc. These are raw cacao nibs and are different. Don't expect chocolate chips. **Q: I ordered the sweet nibs and love them not realizing there are also just regular cocoa nibs. Is there a big difference?** A: I have not had the sweet nibs. I avoid all glycemic raising sugars if I can. I love these but they are not sweet. I add them to yogurt and use stevia. The longer they sit in the yogurt the softer they are. I saw a post somewhere about mixing the raw cacao powder and these together. That sounded good too. I buy these because they are raw. Not heated above 105 degrees. **Q: Will the product arrive melted if shipped under hot summer climate? Considering this is being shipped to Houston.** A: The response from the seller, I guess, states that the unprocessed pieces of the cacao seeds (nibs) don't contain any cocoa butter. So where does cocoa butter come from if not from the nibs? If you look at the Nutrition Facts on the package you'll see that the fat content is around 21%...that's cocoa butter. The nib is a seed (containing cocoa solids and cocoa butter) not a chocolate chip which is what, among other things, chocolate manufacturers make from the nibs after a significant amount of processing. Since most cacao seeds (containing the nib) are shipped to manufactures in the shell, I haven't seen anything to indicate that there would be a problem with shipping the unshelled nibs...like shipping unshelled peanuts. **Q: Is there caffeine in cacao nibs?** A: I'm sorry but I've already finished/throw away the bag.I think there is a very small amount of caffeine in cacao nibs but I've not been feeling jittery or anything.I found u some info online about caffeine in cocao nibs hope it helps.Caffeine and TheobromineCaffeine is one of a family of chemicals called xanthines.
