MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN
This hat has taken ages to arrive after I ordered it, that's because it comes directly from China. upon arrival it is massive and if you want to return it you have to pay for the return.

Works
I agree with the other reviewers! The quality is excellent but the visibility is somewhat obstructed by the color of the mesh. I would buy again 👍 UPDATE after a few days of use I am in love with this hat! Not having all the bugs in my face has brought back the peace of working in our garden 😘

Bugs no longer eat my face
I'm a lady with a huge head, and this fits perfectly. It does the job well. I was concerned about poor visibility, but it's not bad. The green one is similar to wearing sunglasses. I use this in deep, dark, dank New Englad forests and swamps, and my vision in it is fine.It does suck at moisture wicking--I sweat sooner and much more in this thing. It also makes the air around me feel more humid when I'm doing a rigorous hike. If I take it off, the air becomes so much lighter and clearer. Still, I'll take a sweaty head over the plague of mosquitoes and deerflies any day!

Comhats in the Real-World
I purchased the Comhats Fishing Hat because I was tired of breathing bugs on my walks. When it arrived it was smushed into a cheap plastic bag. I thought it was permanently damaged, but, it sprang back to life as soon as it was removed from the bag.To test it, I took it on a 4 mile walk through a Massachusetts marsh in mid-summer. Both the hat and I survived. The hat holds its shape, the netting is long enough to fully cover an open necked shirt (including the back collar, which other nets don't seem to cover), and the vents in the hat kept it from becoming too hot. While the netting does not contain bug repellant, bugs did not swarm around my head.It is easy to see through, though I wish Comhats used a different color mesh - more on that shortly. In other words, this hat did what is promised. However, there are three things Comhats could add to this hat that would make it MUCH more useful:1. Add straps inside the hat to hold the netting out of the way when not needed. Currently the netting hangs down regardless of whether you need it or not. Two straps inside the hat would easily bundle it out of the way.2. Add a "hook" that's outside the netting to hang up the hat (to allow it to dry off) without risking poking a hole in the net.3. Change the color of the net to a matte black. While the light green is "easy" to see through, it tends to wash out in sunlight and creates a slightly foggy view. For me, my big request is to find a way to hide the net when not in use.
