But doesn't the hose lower water pressure, esp for larger?** A: The water feed is through the pipe from the wall. There is then a three-way diverter with settings for large head only, both heads and small portable head only. If you use the both heads setting there is a slight loss of pressure. Have not found it to be very much of a drop, even at the both setting plenty of pressure for rinsing hair. Have made the pressure modification others refer to and my semi-scientific tests shows water usage almost equal due to shorter shower time. Easy to switch the flow diverter without looking.
