Better than I expected, especially for the price. The app interface is very good. For example, I use it often for homemade kifer. I setup a "Kifer Ferment" preset, with a range of 72 to 77 deg F. Just select that preset, and done. Beeps if it gets too hot or cold.It has decent Bluetooth range. It will work from the second floor to the first floor, from one corner of the house to the other (although I only get one "bar", so I suspect that's about the limit). The probes seem accurate (same reading as another thermometer), and react fast. The app could use some instructions, but I got it figured out in a few minutes. It took a little while to find the "+" adds a custom preset. The app had more features that I expected. I looked through them, but haven't used all of them yet (e.g. the history chart of the temp). This Christmas turkey is going to look like a science experiment :)At first I thought it came with a scratched screen, but it was just the plastic protector (which wasn't immediately obvious). The only minor complaint I have, is they say the probes aren't waterproof. But almost all other brands have the same problem. With 6 probes, I can just switch out the probe, and heat the wet one, to boil out the water (like I did with my old thermometer). The rechargeable batter lasted for a long time. It will save quite a bit on buying batteries.I spent a few hours trying to figure out which thermometer to buy. I think this one is definitely the best value.

Off to a great start with easy setup, features & performance
*update* - 1 year later and I'm still loving this thing!Put some big fat chicken brests on the grill and used a couple of probes to keep track and ensure they were properly done. Fast and so convenient having the Temps on my phone❣️------Out of the box, everything went smoothly.Downloaded the app - paired with the base unit with no manual intervention.Tested all the probes and ports - responded & reported in as expected.Did a little test when grilling up some chicken last night - it was *great* with the real-time temperature monitoring and alarms@Just a reminder: if you leave a probe inside the grill, do NOT grab it without gloves! Gee, the inside of the grill makes things hot 🔥 🤯🤣Plan on firing up the smoker this weekend and will update with any new news.Off to a fantastic start Th👍🙏😁

I really liked it until I killed it...
Overall, I really like this unit. It seems accurate (at least it matches a separate pocket thermometer, the six channels are nice to have, and the bluetooth functionality works as expected, with a solid connection from the smoker outside to everywhere inside my (admittedly small) house. The magnetic back works well to attach it to a smoker or barbeque. The probes and their cords seem well made and fit for pupose. The app is pretty good- nothing award-winning but frankly more functionality than I thought I would need for a thermometer. The alarms work well, but it would be nice to be able to acknowledge and mute them. One admittedly tiny quibble- the ports on the unit are labeled 1-6, but the probes are colored. I chose to use the color spectrum (ROYGBIV) to keep track- and you can set them in the app to match however you connect them.If I have one issue- and in my case, it has led to the above-mentioned killing of the unit- it is that the unit is not in the least bit waterproof. (I will admit it doesn't claim to be...) I had it attached to my smoker and after a short light rain the unit was actually visibly full of water. Oh well, my own fault- I will replace the unit annd bee more dilligent.

My husband is in smoker heaven....
My husband absolutely LOVES this themometer. He had one similar, but not as nice and it was on its last leg, so he asked me to keep my eye out for a new one. He smokes meat every weekend... Sometimes during the week as well, so this is something he can't go without. The USB charging is wonderful... No more scrounging for new batteries in the middle of a smoke. He just downloaded the app to his phone, and was up and running. He's NOT tech savy, so appreciated the ease of set up and use. This comes with 6 probes, and I think he's taken that as a challenge. He can now do ribs, a pork butt for pulled pork, and chicken at the same time, and monitor each seperately.... He's thinking he can throw in a brisket as well before it gets too cold. This is a really nice set, and even has a decent box you can store it all in. By far the best we've tried so far.

Stainless steel probes
This thermometer comes with 6 stainless steel probes. Other BT meat thermometers I've had in the past have aluminum alloy probes that have not lasted but a month. I'm a big fan of stainless steel since it is stronger and less reactive with food than the aluminum probes. The app (HyperBBQ) is a cinch to download and connection with my phone was instant. Another feature I like is that multiple probe temps are shown on the screen all at one time - you don't have to toggle through to find a certain temperature. The app notifies you know when your meat is 10 degrees away from being done and the probe number illuminates on the unit as a warning as well. The only thing I wish they provided was some sort of storage case. The original box works for this, but a neat case would be perfect for storing. Overall though, a great product!
