The fit is perfect, the fabric is the same thick stretchy velvet, and now the chair mechanism moves easier than with the single piece cover that I felt was too small for my larger size LaZBoy recliner.I purchased a navy velvet 3 seat sofa cover almost a year ago without much hope it would renew my sofa. I was pleasantly surprised! I LOVE this velvet fabric and the sofa cover fit like it was tailor made.I have four cats who constantly shed and the navy velvet cover simply is NOT a cat hair collector! The fabric is somewhat wrinkled so maybe I’ll steam it or just let the regular use help with it. It doesn’t really bother me and I thought it would. The back of the chair doesn’t look great but I honestly didn’t put to much effort because it’s going against the wall. The side pocket is not very pretty nor practical in my opinion. Fabric is not extremely thick so if you have a pattern it will show.
