Extremely fun, worthwhile game :D
I'd been hyped about this game since I heard about it last august and pre-ordered it right away. It was released in Japan in 2014 so this is just the english version of it. The DLC that was released in Japan seem to be included in the game. I have played roughly 10 hours of the game so far and am nowhere near completing it.You may have heard that this is somewhat like monster hunter but don't go thinking this is anything like the experience you had with monster hunter. I think more or less this is true. I find the targeting, movement, and abilities much easier and more intuitive to use. I do not use the circle pad pro for this (yet) BUT it is compatible with it.Features of the game:- You start as a freelancer job and unlock several after you complete the tutorial phase. You unlock more jobs later through various means.Pros:- A ton of stuff to do. You can get all (and multiple) of the available monsters to summon and fight with you, max out all 21 (or so?) jobs' abilities and weapons, make all the stuff in the game, and lots more.- Online play, local co-op, and solo play. You can set up rooms detailing your objectives and gate it based on what content the other people have cleared so far.- You can leave the city hub without a quest just to gather items and kill monsters free-style.- The crystal surge system is pretty neat.- Your abilities can gain "mutations" that add special traits to them.Cons:- No 3D functionality (small con really, 3D gives me a headache sometimes!)- Probably no future updates (it's been out a year already in Japan so..)I'll edit this if I find more cons really since I'm so early into the game.My impression of it is if you really liked the feel of FFXI you'll like this. If you like games where you kill monsters over and over and make weapons and armor out of their drops you'll like this.Cons:- Onlin

Worth the purchases, lots of fun and multiplayer!
This is a fantastic game, cutesy graphics which Final Fantasy likes to use for most of their DS/3DS titles but they do look good enough to impress in some cases. The game play is a lot of fun, very much like Monster Hunter only with Final Fantasy Jobs and lore. You can change jobs, mix and match abilities and magic spells, and eventually summon monsters during battle or channel a favorite Final Fantasy Character to play as them before unleashing their ultimate move before turning back into your character. I have nothing but good things to say about the game, it's a solid choice for your 3DS collection.

A Good Grinding Game
I'm about 20 hours into the game now and have been enjoying it. If you are a fan of the Monster Hunter games, you will like this as well. The whole point of the game is to be grindy and build up and improve your character. Like the Final Fantasy MMOs, the class system lets you change your class on the fly. Using different weapons lets you use different skill sets that can change how you approach battles.I've been enjoying the pet leveling aspect of the game as well. In lieu of using the multiplayer function to play with other people, you can level pets to fight along side you and aid you in battle. I think this was a very good call on Square Enix's part to not force you to play with others if you don't want to.If I had a complaint, it would be the lack of communication possible when using multiplayer. The game has many preset phrases you can send, but the system itself is a little clunky. This is forgivable to me though, I'm not able to think of a better solution on the gameboy platform.

Game is EVERYTHING I wanted but...
This portion of the review is based on the product ALONE:The game is reminiscent of Monster-Hunter, while still giving a VERY Final Fantasy feel. It has an in-depth job-changing system with cross-class skill system, as well as an intricate monster/collection system and a skill-grinding system. You will be very entertained for a long while, and there's still so much more that I can't fully cover in a review alone! So if you love Final Fantasy, or Monster Hunter, or even miss a bit of that Crystal Chronicles feel with a very decent online/local co-op play mixed in, purchase this product! This portion of the review is based on the delivery of the product ALONE:I pre-ordered this game to avoid not being able to purchase the game upon its release; ironically, there was only one copy of the game left at my local Game Stop, and had I just foregone pre-ordering it from Square Enix USA, I would've been playing the game happily! Alas, I am unsatisfied due to the fact that my game arrived FAIRLY late, given it was even a pre-order, given I purchased the fastest delivery option available. I ordered the game on the 8th of January, and received it January 29th (3 days, what a horror!). The quickest option was two days, but it didn't even arrive within the two days of release (the game had its official release on the 26th). On top of that, my friend in Canada received his copy on the 25th and he ordered it with a normal delivery. Despite this, I still received my game significantly later than he did, and that is why I do not review this as a 5-star due to the poor transit.Summarize:Ordered 1/09Released 1/26Friend Received 1/25Personally Received (with 2-day shipping) 1/29Product is a 5/5Delivery is a 1/5

Buen juego tipo monster hunter
