Replacement for my previous one
I was not thinking and gave my beloved deep dish baker to my daughter because I had a cranberry glazed baker. I later realized that I had a domed bowl that I used when roasting chicken or other meats. I looked and found this one and am very happy with my purchase. I have to get it seasoned, which will take some time to get it nice and brown like my other one. Only thing I noticed is that the sides and bottom seem a little thinner than my previous baker. I haven't done a side by side comparison yet.I also have a NuWave Oven, and I use my deep dish baker in it almost daily for things like fish sticks and French fries. The deep dish baker is a perfect fit. Things come out nice and crisp. I recommend this combination for fast, easy cooking. You can't go wrong.

Stuffed Pizza, So So Good!
I love to cook. I love to attempt new recipes in the kitchen. I wanted to re-create a stuffed pizza from Zachary's pizza (a restaurant in Northern California) I've never used a cooking stone before, but was excited to try. What can I say?? It was AH-Maz-Zing! This size was perfect and believe it or not, fed my family of 5! Can you believe it?? The stuffed pizza was so filling, they didn't need to eat an entire pizza themselves. The crust was cooked and had the perfect crispness, not soggy at all. I've used the stone many times since I've gotten it and I wouldn't hesitate to say, you just have to have one in your kitchen too!Photo is from our actual Pizza from Zachary's

I seasoned it and put it in the oven, and it works great. It did come a bit misshapen, and got a little worse after I used it, but I do like it for crisping up frozen snacks. It fits nicely in my Nu-Wave oven, too. If I was sure that the next one would come nicely turned out, I would order it for a gift. So, if you don't mind a bit of an odd shape, you will find it useful.

Super Healthy Baking Dish
This is the BEST universal dish for making so many dishes from pizza, vegetables, roast, etc. It is so easy to add just a little coconut oil to my vegetables and bake away. The pizza can be made with a small crust or a high and your contents will not spill over. I am very impressed with the quality of the Sassafras Super Stone too. With easy clean up and a tremendous healthy product to cook with, I am overjoyed with this product. You will need to season it and just use water for clean up. An added bonus it is non-stick. I love this stone and will purchase more as gifts.

Always the best
When my last one broke, I was so thankful to find this replacement on Amazon -- the best baking dish ever! Wouldn't want to make cornbread without it!

Pampered Chef has a stoneware dish just like this one. I love how eggs fluff up in this pan like no other. Also is a great pan for making a deep dish pie.However, the center of this dish does not lay flat, it bulges like it is warped. If you put anything liquid in it, it all runs to the outside and there is nothing in the middle. I don't know if all Sassafras dishes are like this or if mine was just a lemon, but if I had to order another one, I would choose Pampered Chef brand, just because I know it is not warped.

I've made great pizza, focaccia
I bought this ceramic pan in April 2014, while setting up a completely new kitchen after moving cross-country.Originally I was rather unhappy with the cheap appearing quality,as well as it's "Made in China" origin. Too lazy to return it ,I had low expectations of its lifespan and utility.Fast forward to Nov 2015: this ceramic baking dish is my #1 used baking dish.It is supreme when I need to use it for reheating in the oven large portions of left overs. I've made great pizza,focaccia,quiches, and small casseroles with this pan. It easily handles 450F oven temps as well as a trips through the dishwasher.The dish became discolored after 6 or 7 uses. It also became "proofed" beyond any of my cast-iron cookware. After heavy use I merely need to cool,soak,and wipe the pan. It's way better than any teflon or coated product I've used over the past 30 years.I am cautious with placing a oven hot dish on a cold marble surface. (Having had an explosive mistake with a high quality pyrex pan.)I really can't recommend this ceramic baker too highly. I'm a very cranky reviewer when it come to kitchen stuff.

Caution Inaccurate Measurements!!!
THIS DISH IS NOT 2''s high!!!! CAUTION, CAUTION, CAUTION!!!! I am fed up with Amazon because their description of their products is not accurate more frequently and when sending an item back that is clearly not what they advertise it to be, it' like pulling teeth to get shipping charges refunded. This dish has an inside diameter of 10 and 1/2"s by 1 and 7/16th''s deep.
