Fit and finish is very good and seems like it will be durable -- better than expected! The wiring harness is easy to use & plenty long to allow for routing. They provide multiple tie-downs to make the wiring secure and provide a factory look. Install was easy for one person. The only negative is that the installation instructions are just snapshots from the video on this Amazon listing, but neither tells you how to remove the bumper, and neither provides wrench sizes or torque specs. INSTALL TIPS: 1. The video shows the bumper removed, but doesn't tell you how. It's easy as there are only eight 15mm bolts. It does help to have both long and short 15mm sockets. Do a DuckDuckGo search for a video showing the bumper removal so you can see where the bolts are. Once unbolted, the bumper is lightweight plastic and easy to handle. 2. The spare does NOT need to be removed as shown in some videos online. Just open the door all the way. 3. I used a 19mm socket and Crescent wrench for the new hitch bolts. They are super easy to get to with the bumper off. Unfortunately, the video doesn't give any torque specs. The hitch squeezes against the frame as you tighten. Start at one end, then tighten all four in sequence so it doesn't warp or bow in the middle. Then re-tighten all four again because the first ones you tightened will have loosened a bit as the others took up the pressure. Even a 3rd tightness check wouldn't hurt just for security. 4. Pay attention as you remove the left taillight because there are two types of screws. The two closest to the tailgate are pointed sheet metal screws that actually hold the unit on. The outboard screws are coarser to fit into the plastic positioning molding.

Installation was exactly as expected. Remove the plastic bumper cover (6 bolts) install the Nilght hitch receiver as the instructions lay out. No torque specs are provided, so tighten those 8.8 bolts until everything stops moving together. The provided wiring harness clips right in and keeps the wiring super simple. The only criticism I have is the flimsy wiring zip ties. They hold the cable, but don't stay in any of the holes in the factory bumper structure. Overall, I think this is a great product and value. I'll update as at start hauling our trailer with it.

Fit really well and is a very sturdy piece. Backyard tip! Electrical tape the nut into the open end of your wrench to get it to start on the bolt. No bumper disassembly needed! I don’t plan on pulling anything bigger than a jetski with the jeep but that’s on Chrysler not the hitch

Came with all the necessary hardware and was overall pretty easy to install with the right tools and not needing to remove the bumper for access. Seems to be pretty sturdy and functional for most lighter-duty tasks. It also included the harness for the rail lights/4-way flat trailer plug! I forgot it came with that so that was great to see as well. It’s a nice fit and aligns nicely with the center of the Jeep. Overall a good value for the money! The light plug could be just a little better quality and a weight rating stamped or labeled on the unit itself would be nice just to quickly identify this hitch’s maximum capacity by design separate from what the Jeep’s factory capacities may be. Seems to be nice and durable for its design and I feel it would function within its rated capacity no problem.

Looks well made, has a nice finish and included everything to mount. This is not an easy install without removing the rear bumper. Everything fits great but their is very little room between the receiver and the bumper. It is very hard to get the flat washer, lock washer and nut started on the bolt with only about 1/2" of space. I used small needle nosed vice grips and even that was difficult but doable with a few choice words.

Bought this for the Jeep until I can purchase new front and rear bumpers. Good value for the money. Looks and feels very sturdy. As far as install, 6 bolts to take the rear bumper off and you're ready to bolt it on. Mountability was very easy as it lined up with existing bolt holes. The pigtail for the trailer lights was easy to hook up as well. Overall, this took about 20 minutes to install and it was ready to go. Their video shows how to do the install. I would recommend this if you are looking for an alternative to buying a new bumper.
