Camera worked perfectly. We bought it to find out if one cat was stealing the others food. Tried different locations for food and consequently moved the camera. After 2 moves camera no longer works. Tried 2 different email addresses. One replied asking for more details but no subsequent replies, there was no response from the other one.26/12/2020Received a reply today, with profuse apologies and reason for delay.Offered replacement or refund.Took refund as had bought another camera as we needed it urgently. Refund will be with us in 48 hours.This is GOOD customer service, we all make mistakes, it's how you rectify them that counts.

Fantastic little camera for the price!I got it set up under 5 minutes. Very easy set up. I really like the motion detection as it's accurate and you can adjust the sensitivity.I have mine in my kitchen window over looking the back garden and it covers the whole garden. It's perfect size for a window ledge. It's not too bulky.With the night vision aswell, this puts my mind at ease especially at night. Knowing I've got 24/7 live security.I really recommend this camera. You can't go wrong for this price and having security in your home is very important and this is a very affordable way of protecting your property.I'm also going to use it to keep an eye on my pets. So it's multi purpose.Might even get another one.

I was in need of a baby monitor and I was shocked at the prices. I came across this one and wasn't expecting much for how cheap it is compared to branded baby monitors.Easy to set up, I have the app on my phone, ipad and husbands phone and all work perfectly.The camera is easily moved so we are currently using as baby monitor, watching the dog while we're out and our eldest son is just coming to an age where he can stay home whilst we pop the shops, so using it to keep an eye on him for our first few outtings.The display is brilliant, sound is perfect and we can also talk from our phones to the dog.The camera moves easily and has great range. You can also turn motion detection and it notifies your phone and also records.Highly recommend, I love it and a bargain!

Hopefully reading this review you don't think I'm mad! I bought this because we had just bought 2 rats and they weren't settling in very well into the cage. As they're nocturnal we didn't know if they were able to move around the cage OK. This was really cheap and thought I could use this to check in the morning how they got on.Firstly, make sure you have the app downloaded ready to pair the camera. When plugged in it kept giving off this annoying beeping sound. Downloaded the app, paired the camera easily and the beeping stopped - hurrah!Set the camera up, it came with a USB cable which was somewhat long but not long enough for where I wanted to position it.I like that you can move the camera lense around using the app but it was very slow to respond then suddenly catch up, so it went further than I wanted it to.The night camera vision was good and when I checked the next morning you could clearly see what was recorded. Only issue was the recordings weren't very long, about 6 seconds. I could see that my rats were playing so that was a relief, but it barely recorded long enough to capture any funny moments. Also, the motion sensor couldn't have been great because it went long periods before it recorded again, so it wasn't consistent or reliable. I certainly wouldn't want to rely on this for security reasons. We didn't sign up for the premium package to store the footage or use a memory card, so I don't know if that improves the length of recordings at all.One funny moment though was when it picked up sound. We listened to it and it was the creepiest sound we'd ever heard that it frightened us to what it had picked up. We looked at the time and realised we were watching a comedy at the time and I had a laughing fit. It sounded like I was on helium, it was awful!We gave up with it in the end and unplugged it.

I bought this camera to allow me to keep a remote eye on my 3D printer. I have not been disappointed. I can zoom on the display & read all the stats and pan to monitor the actual print in progress. The photo shows the night vision in action. I found having the camera pointing directly at the LCD of the printer didn't work well as the backlight flooded the camera and nothing was readable. However, positioning the camera slightly to one side solves this nicely as can be seen in the photo.I cannot comment on device security. The camera does a little warm up routine on power up which scans the entire room. To alleviate any spying concerns, I have 3D printed a shroud to blank off parts of the room I don't want to be seen. A piece of cardboard would also work if you're paranoid like me.I chose this particular camera because someone mentioned in a review that cloud subscription is optional and I can confirm that whilst easy to subscribe if you wish, there are no pester pop-ups or similar. I'm only using mine for live viewing so can't comment on the cloud or sd card facilities.The pan motors are audible but very quiet.
