Good but great blades

I’m a med student and this was hands down the best bang for my buck purchase for school. They probably aren’t sharp enough to actually use in clinic or anything, but for cadaver lab they are perfect and cheap.

First, I state for the record. It's highly likely I shouldn't do this.Perhaps never as sharp as "obsidian" edges, BUT, I've "sterilized" these, and used them for "minor self-surgeries".They meet my needs in such regard.It's the "stitching myself up" afterwards that's "trickier"... and a bit more painful!

These blades are not sharp at all. I have used surgical blades before and these blades were very dull and cheap.

And a scary night I accidentally dropped the scalpels, at night while walking I stepped on one and it was so sharp I didn’t feel a thing until I felt a wet feeling on my foot, I turned the lights on and there was _____ everywhere!

As an amateur mycologist, I found this claw-shaped #12 blade ideal for cloning mushrooms and general agar work. The curved edge makes it easier to select and grab small pieces of tissue culture, and I would highly recommend these.
