Morrisons Sweet & Salty Popcorn, 100g

Usually great, but this one was stale
This is usually quite nice but there were a few draw backs from this one I bought online:- It’s a bit more expensive than buying it in the shop directly (at least where so shop)- It was a chewy like it had been left out in the air. I then looked at the date on the pack, and there was a month left until it expired. I wish they would have provided fresher popcorn.- The image doesn’t reflect the current packaging design. This of course doesn’t effect the taste, but I thought I’d add this bit of info anyway.

Big ol bag of NOPE! Don't even bother with these!
Oh gawd, generally I enjoy Morrison's own brand goods, though tbh, this popcorn leaves much to be desired. I've tried several named brands and supermarket own, yet Morrisons falls to the bottom of the pile, they're even worse than Asda, and I thought they were pants...Firstly, there's a mahoosive issue with husks, they can easily be removed, if other companies can do it with little to no issue, Morrisons as a quality grocery store, aught to take that step too. Those husks get stuck between my teeth, between my teeth and the gumline, they even get stuck in my throat and have aggravated my tonsils something chronic! I've never known any popcorn to have this much huskage, it's disgusting!Anyhoo, husks aside, once finished picking them off each popped corn - or face digging out from oral crevices, the initial crunch and texture is ok, normal popcorn sort of thing. This "salty & sweet" flavour is rather mild, often more salty than anything else, I've had at least one pack that had no sweetness at all and only a mild dusting of salt... Add to that, that at least 1/4 of the bag is filed with broken bits mixed with yet more husks, it's akin to tipping out seeds to munch on, with bits of sharp shrapnel, rather than popped corn. Sooo that's a lot of waste in each bag.I reeeaaalllyyy don't rate these at all - I usually go for "Propper Corn Popcorn" as their quality far surpasses their competition (and they never have husks!!!), unfortunately they're often sold out, so have to make do with what I can find when wanting a healthy-ish snack....I won't be purchasing anymore Morrisons own popcorn, there's nothing enjoyable about them and I'm done with choking on husks every time.

Okay
Not good quality I’m afraid I’m an expert on popcorn so will go for a branded one next time

Its a NO
Unfortunately trying to save a few pence is not always worth doing. This is sadly the case in this product. Outer package is bland NON RECYCLABLE typical of most home brand packaging. The actual contents go from sweet to salt in seconds before the bland and boring kicks in and the final explosion of taste not that the taste is ever realised is of rock hard un poppped corn. Which if not careful could easily be confused with a broken tooth or two.Packaging should be given a warning sign.

more like popmaize than popcorn
I bought these recently , more to do with price than recommendation. How can popcorn be so awful?I found I was trying to eat popcorn that was so full of the hard skins of the corn kernel that I kept choking on each mouthful. I had to drink large amounts of water to clear them from my throat.I also had to clean my teeth as the skins were jammed in between my teeth. For the skins to be so hard and prominent I could only guess that perhaps they were using maize........not nice at all
