They're a little big for my lover bird but he loves it. He loves bells. The colorful rings seem to attract him. He puts his head inside the bell, pulls the bell, or slams his body against it lol. It seems very sturdy, I'm not worried about parts breaking off. The plastic seems sturdy and hard enough to withstand chewing. Overall a good buy. FYI my bird is picky in terms of toys. Back story: our love bird is a rescue. We found our lovebird drowning in our pool and saved it. We put him in a temporary carrier as he couldn't fly even though he was not hurt, I thought his wings were clipped and haven't grown back. We went to check our neighborhood and our neighborhood app for missing lovebird -nothing came up. So we put him in a bigger more permanent cage. We don't let him out as we have multiple dogs. (he doesn't go out and feel much at home in his cage - made me wonder how he got out and into our yard) - I want him to have toys that will keep him busy and entertain and this toy does its job.

My parakeet likes bells, and will do all types of things to ring them (i.e., grab with his foot and shake).I was a little concerned when I put Bonka toy in about the size - I thought he might be afraid of it. He accustomed to it very quickly, and plays with it often.At first I was a little disappointed in the ringing. There is a sound, but not a good bell ring. But now owning the Bonka, I think the sound is enough - otherwise I would be hearing bells all day long. The bird enjoys it, and the ringing is not obtrusive.My parakeet and I are totally happy with the toy.

The toy is a bit bigger than I expected but I’m fine with it being bigger. I have two cockatiels and they love bells. The toy is sturdy and weighted so I’m not worried about my birds pulling it down. The colors are bright and attractive also. Hope this review help someone who is skeptical about buying.

I'm currently fostering a Goffin Cockatoo. She's somewhere between 35-45 years old. She hasn't had toys in decades, so I wasn't sure if she would even know how to play. After a few days, she finally started playing with this toy and ringing the bells! She seems to really like it!
