Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask, 3.38 Ounce

(Photos are: Few days ago with Purge™️ breakouts, Mask time!, Directly after Mask, 1 day after Mask) I had been searching for a skincare godsend. My skin is sensitive, acne prone, very dry and I break out in my U zone the most, due to the dryness (I also live in the desert). This is that godsend. I had a few weeks ago made a skin mask with fruit to help my dryness and hydrate/increase skin cell turnover. My mask had honeydew which I did not realize has citrus in it. Long story short, raspberries, strawberries and honeydew will make your skin Purge™️. Which means, all your baby zits or ones under the skin will grow up overnight or over the next few days and will go away as they heal. My skin is on its last few days of the healing bit of this Purge™️. I received this mask in the mail and had read reviews that said it was drying, or made you break out. I have only experienced good things, less flakiness, balanced feeling skin, softened texture, brightened tone, all within moments of removing the mask. I only used a little tiny bit, it doesn't come with a spoon so I used the little bit that was on the inside of the plastic seal first, dabbing it on with my fingers and spreading it as far as I could. A tiny amount goes a very long way. I used probably a quarter sized amount for my whole face, a medium layer. It cools as it dries, and had little exfoliating nubs of volcanic clay in it, so it feels exfoliating AS YOU APPLY IT, and as you remove it. Don't scrub or you could over-do the exfoliation. It dries within 15 minutes, so when it was dry and the cooling sensation went away mostly I rinsed it with warm water. Lots of hard little sebaceous filaments came out of my skin. When clay was off I rinsed again, twice, with cold water to close my pores. Then I went to bed. I woke up this morning and my skin is just as soft as it was when I rinsed the clay off last night. And that's saying something because my skin is very dry. The Purge ™️ breakouts are almost completely healed, and my skin feels amazing. I will continue to purchase this product and tell everyone I know about it!!!

I've had many clay masks, some from tubes and others from small canisters like this but it's actually pretty convenient. The only problem I have with it is the cleanliness but that could easily be solved by purchasing some cosmetic spatulas or even using a kitchen spoon. The product is very thick in consistency and not particularly watery but that's what makes it so easy to work with and spread on. Some masks say to apply an layer but it's too watery to really tell but that isn't the issue here. The mask, once you put it on, is immediately refreshing which is surprising. It gives you the tingly feeling that many clay masks do, but is more refreshing like a sheet mask. There are small little beads or something in the product to exfoliate your skin but by no means is it harsh. I used it for the suggested time, then rinsed it off with warm water and afterwards I felt like my skin was rather bright. The pores were a little better but since I don't have many problems with clogged pores or just skin issues in general but I do have the occasional acne. I usually use it after a long day out or just after a night out with friends and especially if I've accidentally slept with makeup on. My skin feels absolutely cleansed and tighter after. I did notice it helped my blackheads though. However, I wouldn't say this is a miracle worker over one use. Keep in mind that most products need to be used a few times before you can really notice real results. As I have tried many clay masks, I would say this is one of the most cost effective, especially over the American products I've used.

I’m liking it’s consistency. It’s not a thick goo that you accidentally slather too thick, nor is it so hard to wash off your hands. I’ve tried other mud masks that no matter how you much you rinse it won’t come off from all crevices and ends up making a black mess all over your clothes and towel. Don’t get me wrong you still have to rinse thoroughly, but now it doesn’t look like you used your shirt/towel for toilet paper. A little goes a long way for this mud mask, it hardens without becoming a crumbling mess, and once rinsed off my face feels cleared and clean. I wake up the next morning and I can see a noticeable difference in my current acne, and no new ones have popped up overnight after using this. Since masks are a norm right now, trying to keep my face clear of acne has been close to impossible. Since my skin is not the sensitive type (I’m Asian, late 30s, and have super oily skin), I try to use this three times a week, and haven’t had any issues with drying or redness. I even use my harsher toner afterwards (I have a harsh one when I have acne problems). Will definitely be getting again.

OKAY. I was extremely skeptical of these reviews and especially this mask's ability to help with blackheads and sebum. I've tried countless products to help with the clogged pores on my nose, and I turned to researching K-beauty products after no success with western cosmetics. After doing some research, I found this volcanic clay mask on a list featuring top K-beauty products, and decided to give it a shot! Price? Five stars. Quality? Five stars. Effectiveness? FIVE STARS. When I first applied the mask, I was pleased by its spreadable texture and the very light scent (my skin does not do well with heavily-perfumed products). Then, when the clay sat on my face, I was surprised by how strong the "cooling" effect was and at first thought my skin was having a reaction. However, I waited it out for 12 minutes, then washed off the clay... and holy crap, my pores are already WAY smaller, like visibly, my skin is smooth, soft, and shining, and a lot of my blackheads and sebum are gone! I'm shocked. I'm the hugest skeptic when it comes to skin products, but this was such an easy solution to a problem I've been dealing with for years... It seems like a miracle product. I've only done it this one time, but if it keeps working like this, I'm definitely going to be a lifelong customer!

I have very oily and sensitive skin. I've tried tons of masks and this is definitely one of my favorites. It's nice and thick and spreads easily. You don't have to put a thick layer on to get great results. If I do have a breakout and decide to layer it on thick, after it dries, I lean over the sink and rub my fingers over my face and let it kind of 'crumble' off before washing my face. Otherwise, it's kind of a mess. It helps shrink clear up blemishes and blackheads. My face feels great after using it, very soft and smooth. It also seems to stay 'balanced' for several days, i.e. way less oily. I try to use it 2-3 times a week. The only con is that it dries up pretty quickly inside the container, after about 6 weeks. I tried adding a bit of water to it but it just kind of fell apart into a clumpy mess. I'm thinking that's just what happens with these ingredients (similar to other natural ingredient masks). I just try to use it up quickly but I've never been able to use a whole container before this happens. It would be great if they had smaller sizes so it didn't go to waste. Overall, I think this mask works really well and would definitely recommend it.

I have combination skin - oily nose, t-zone, and forehead and dry around my mouth and jawbone. I also have a lot of redness on my cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. My main concern when deciding to buy this face mask was for my large pores on my nose and cheeks. So far, I've used the mask 2 times a week since receiving it on August 8th. During each use, I only put the mask on my oily areas and cheeks, but I've also started putting it on my chin as well. Other products I use include Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Facial Cleanser and Neutrogena's Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer. I mainly use the face wash twice a day and the moisturizer occasionally. I believe this combination of products has really helped me get my confidence back. I'm not ashamed of my face, but it just sucks having tried a lot of products over the years and I still haven't found the perfect products for my skin. Until now. I believe this mask really pulls the toxins from my skin and it has majorly helped improve my skin's texture and tone. I didn't know that it would even help reduce the redness on my nose and cheeks, so that was a HUGE plus when using this mask. I've looked like a red panda now for who knows how long, and I feel like the redness has faded a lot. And I love it. Pore-wise, I think my pores have decreased in size maybe a little? But I'm mainly just happy about the redness, lol. My sister-in-law went out of town for awhile and when she came back, she noticed the difference too! She said my skin looked less red and bumpy. Then I turned red out of embarrassment, but I felt like I just had to share this experience I've had while using this amazing face mask. I hope that this review helps someone out there who has any of the same problems I've been struggling with. Thanks for reading!

I saw that there was a lot of hype with this product and I was intrigued by its claims so I ended up purchasing it. After using this product numerous times, over a period of months, I thought now I could give my thoughts on it. Overall, its not bad but neither did it blow me away with the results. It does clean your skin and your skin does feel smoother, but a lot of other products do this as well. I will say this, if you have sensitive skin, take this with caution and test it on a patch of your face and see if your skin responds well to it. I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin and my skin responded okay with, I would prefer to have less redness afterwards then this products makes. I think this product fits skin types such as: combination, oily, and acne prone; this might be to drying on drier skin types and to strong on sensitive skin types. Again, not a bad product, just wasn't blown away by it. Hope this was helpful.

I am soooo happy I decided to give this product a try! It does EXACTLY what it says and I always feel so good after each use. It cleans out my pores better than any other product I've ever used and it leaves my skin feeling so, SO fresh and smooth and just wonderful feeling. I have pretty oily skin, you see, and my pores have suffered because of all the gross excess oil and resulting acne troubles. As you can imagine, I've gone through product after product in search of something that would actually work well for me and I have found things, but this is just amazing and I stumbled across it on accident. haha So far, this is the only product that does a pretty great job at tightening my pores while leaving it clean (and not the tight, uncomfortable type of clean feeling you get from a lot of products) and the cooling sensation it has is a very nice bonus. It's a nice way to unwind after a long day and I will be buying more in the future. I personally have not suffered any negative side effects from using this, but I have noticed a couple of new pimples. I imagine that is merely from the gunk in my pores being drawn to the surface and continued use will clear it up fairly quickly (along with aid from other products I use). I would definitely recommend this to anyone with similar skin problems. It honestly makes a world of difference.

ich dachte erst die Packung ist größer aber das macht die Qualität wider in Ordnung meine haut fühlt sich richtig weis an und alle meine Mitesser sind weg dieses Produkt ist unglaublich gut. ich bin mir nicht sicher ob es bei allen Hauttypen funktioniert aber ich denke schon bei vielen meiner freunde und bekannten hat es auch bestens geklappt

Esta marca en general me gusta y tenía tiempo queriendo usar esta mascarilla. Es buena si quita los puntos negros y la piel se siente más suave yo sólo la uso en las zonas que siento más grasas. Se siente una sensación muy fresca pero no es stripping. Pero no es una solución permanentemente, es decir, los puntos negros volverán a aparecer en uno o dos días, pero igual con eso el uso continuo (1-2 veces a la semana) se cubre el tiempo en el vuelven a salir

in origine bisognava comprare dopo attenta ricerca, ora si sono abbastanza diffusi. Per quel che riguarda la maschera va benissimo sulle pelli secche, su quelle grasse invece sercondo me serve a poco perche dopo poco ci si ritrova al punto di partenza.

I came across this product by chance and absolutely LOVE it. I've even recommended this to a few friends of mine who all love it. It spreads smoothly onto the skin - you don't need a very think amount at all, enough to cover the entire face but avoid eyes, lips etc. It has a wonderfully soothing, minty sensation when it is on your skin, which is so calming. Whilst it dries, it doesn't pull on the skin like other clay masks. I usually leave it on for about 20 - 30mins and my skin is BABY SOFT afterwards. Pores appear more refined and skin feels super clean but without the tightness.
