It is made of natural materials and is a work of art. The detail is stunning. The only minor complaint that I have is that when I received it, I could smell the glue. However, since I ordered it early I have it out of its box and open so that the odor can dissipate before I give the gift. If you want to give this as a gift, then make sure you order it several weeks early so that if it was just manufactured it will have time to air out. There are blemishes and bubbles all over the box, it is pretty but it seems to be made in a rush. There is brown glue streaks in it as well that really throw off the glow on the trinket box. The top is very pretty, but I am still disappointed unfortunately.
