R+Co Park Ave Blowout Balm, Vitamin-Rich Hair Balm for Smooth Blowouts

So, I really don't write reviews very often. I've been a fan of the R + Co line of products for a while now, and I own just about half to 2/3 of the entire line up. For some reason, this never made it into my hands until a recent sale for Prime day.... let me tell you... wow. If you're like me, most of your products are layered when you're styling, when you want to actually put in the effort... I wanted to try out this product alone, whereas normally I'm using Waterfall, Dallas Spray, and Balloon at the very minimum.... So I washed my hair with Dallas Shampoo and Conditioner (guys, if you need some volume in your hair, that's the one), and then towel dried and combed to air dry just a bit. Once my hair was maybe 60% dry, I applied Park Ave and started to dry. In all of maybe 3-5 minutes with a round brush, my hair was looking better than it ever had with the stack of products I've used in the past. Truly, I was blown away. The texture of the cream is strange at first, and you don't really need a lot, but it has just the right amount of moisture and control. I never felt like I was pulling my hair too much as sometimes I do if I layer in mouse and hairspray for styling. Not all hair products are for every single hair type, so always keep that in mind when reading reviews good or bad, but THIS one... I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best hair product I've ever used. I probably won't be re-purchasing half the lineup because this one is that good.

I'm a low maintenance person and don't bother with many hair products, but I received a sample of this blowout balm and found it to be an easy and effective addition to my morning routine. It has a good smell and helps to tame my hair when I run a bit through it while it's still damp. I've tried other products and this was the first want that actually compelled me to follow through with an additional purchase.

I have flat, thin hair and crave volume in my blowouts. While this doesn't provide extreme amounts of volume, it's just the right amount of texture! Smells really nice, and gives my hair a nice shine!

I bought this as an alternative to the Oribe Imperial Blowout, which is still my favorite. But for half the price, this one does a fantastic job. No strong scent, and it makes blow-drying so much faster. I like the texture and manageability this product gives my hair. It's an excellent, more affordable alternative! No sticky residue, either. I am also a fan of this company's dry shampoo paste. This is a quality brand that I highly recommend.

I love this product. I initially got a travel size from Birch Box and immediately loved it. I now buy the larger size from Amazon. It makes my coarse color treated hair smooth and shiny. I spray my hair out of the shower with either Dry Bar or Redkin leave in, add blow out balm and do my roots with Ouai volumizing spray. Then blow out. Hair is shiny and smooth and lasts a few days. Looks great. Love this product and highly recommend

I bought the small bottle just to try it and it's amazing. I have fine hair, not thinning hair, and I have a lot of it. I get dry ends and oily roots. This blowout balm has been the best product I've ever used! Most products are too heavy and make my hair look greasy and weighs down my hair. My hair has great volume and looks so much thicker. Even on the second day its still working.

This product has an odd odor that I don't care for. It did give me a nice blow out. But it did not last. Within a few hours, my hair was poufy and and then wavy. Eventually, it started to curl, exactly what I wanted to avoid. Perhaps in low humidity it will work better.

First, can I say, WHOA! Talk about your fast shipping. I ordered this on Friday night and got it SATURDAY MORNING. Thank you R+Co! And after reading all these amazing reviews on this product, I was really excited to try it! May I say, it really does make a difference when I blow out my hair! Very smooth and soft! And the next day my hair (which tends to run dry and fuzzy after sleeping on it) was still smoooooth. So I get all the hype because it's real. Thank you R+Co for this excellent hair balm. I also like the graphic on the bottle. Makes me think of NYC at night! oxox

Packaged well and branded well and comes in a travel size tube for easy travel. No excuses to not protect your hair when travelling! ================ Performance: Excellent. This is perfect for helping style and protect your hair after a shower when you want to blow-dry it. I’ve only had experience using this with short hair, but I have found that if I apply this to damp hair, rub it in, and then use my blowdryer and comb to style – the result always comes out good. The cream hardens, but not to the point where it gets heavy or uncomfortable like Gel products – it creates a good enough hold that it’s able to hold a flatter hairstyle – if you’re looking to spike your hair, this is not the product. This is also a great hand cream – I know that isn’t the intended purpose, but in a pinch, it works well on skin too! My wife has this in the car as a backup for her hand cream so she can use it not only for her hair after a workout or sporting game, but also during the cold months to keep skin soft. ================ Overall: Very solid product and well branded.
