Anji MountainDeluxe Bamboo Chairmat, 60" x 48", Dark Cherry

This is excellent product! I have a home office with carpeting and the plastic chair mats I'd have to buy new one every 2 years - which is ridiculous to me. This looks so good in the office and it's big enough can roll around in chair to filing cabinets - couldn't do that with plastic chair mats as they aren't as big. Just match color to your decor and it's beautiful. I do notice it moves slightly as I adjust about once a month, but it only moves about a inch or 2 so it's only a slight adjustment (straitening it out) and this doesn't affect my chair movement - just my OCD lol.

I'm over 280 and this Chairmat doesn't flex on carpet, has shown no signs of wear and I cannot feel when the chair wheel transitions from slat to slat. The slats are incredibly strongly connected to one another. Goes quite well with my bamboo desk and has been the best carpet chairmat I've used.

I bought one of these for our home office when the pandemic started. It works really well on our plush carpet. In fact, I ended up ordering a second one so that we both have one under our chairs. They are expensive, but they have held up pretty well (slight scratch on one) and do exactly what we need them to do.

I might come back later and add or remove a star. This is after 3-4 weeks of use:This is a beautiful product and makes my office look much nicer. I even bought a bamboo monitor stand to match, and will probably buy a bamboo waste bin. I have a really thick carpet that was shredding plastic mats and this one hold up great. I put the last plastic mat I had underneath this bamboo one just as an added measure. My chair rolls smoothly and there's plenty of room to roll around. I really appreciate that it's a series of slats so I can fold it to move it around. You can't really roll it up because the slats are too big, but that's not an issue. The backing is really nice, doesn't slip around, and is sturdy when I fold the mat. So, other than my negative issue below this is 5+++ stars!. BTW, I'm 165 lbs on an Aeron chair, so it's not like I'm stress testing it, but the slats don't bend AT ALL in he deep carpet.One big issue: the edge of each slat is slightly splintering. That's the edges between two slats. So I have 'shavings' floating around and it's starting to look a little worn. Not too bad, but if it gets worse I'll be unsatisfied. It's starting to look slightly used and the bamboo underneath is a lighter color so it's totally noticeable. The part of the mat that I don't roll on still looks fine. Basically if it looks like trash in 6 months I'll be pissed, but if this is just some minor breaking in I'll be OK.

Originally purchased a thinner plastic mat for my home but sent it back immediately as it was worthless on any carpet. The 8mm bamboo mat performs perfectly on carpet and looks fantastic. Don't go cheap, you'll regret it.

I was sent the wrong size so It doesn't have the part on mine that should slide under the footspace on the desk it is just squared off. This causes a problem because now the edge is getting torn up pretty quickly from the office chair rollers falling off of it. It looks nice but I think will be destroyed in a short amount of time. Also it moves a little each time you back up your chair so after 2 to 3 days you have to get everything off of it to move it forward again. It is completely on a rug on all parts.

The first wooden mat I had was made with really thin Slats. This one is about 3.5 inches wide and really seems to hold my chair and my weight with ease. So far there is no splitting or breaking and the chair glides like silk. worth every penny

I ordered a "used" one from Amazon (read: returned by someone else) to save $30. This was to replace the heavy duty plastic chair mat that begin to split after one week (also from Amazon). I weigh 215# and my Aeron chair caster (plastic) caused the splitting. This bamboo chair mat is made of slats and I noticed they were also split when I removed from the banged up shipping box. I put the mat down and begin using it. Within 48 hours, I noticed I too was experiencing splitting, just like the heavy duty plastic mat. What to do? Returned item and checked the internet. I found chair mats of glass dot com. Who would believe a glass chair mat? They are fabulous, look great and support me and the chair easily. This mat is a pleasure to use and I wish you good luck.
