My 6 year old daughter wanted to buy these with her birthday money. I didn't really know what they were, but have discovered they are amazing. They look like glue stick tubes and almost write like lipstick, but are not wet. The writing is dry to the touch and the colors are really vibrant. My 4 year old son loves them, too. Best of all they can get paper to "paint" on themselves, take the caps off and on themselves, and there isn't clean up. It is an activity they don't need my help for which is really nice.

Richly pigmented and easy to clean up. They can be used as a creamy solid (much smoother than oil pastels) or with a brush and water as paint. Work great with watercolor paper. definitely worth the money. they are so smooth to work with and have amazing vibrant color when painting. It kind of feels like a cross between a crayon and a oil pastel. I work with 3/4 year olds and this is perfect for them.
