This strap works well and holds its position. I added it to my Solgaard pack because the proprietary chest strap failed and could not be replaced. This fits fine and is not obtrusive on the pack. It can also be easily slid down the straps to the bottom to get it out of the way if necessary. ### ⭐ Straps fall off over and over again. *by on Reviewed in the United States March 7, 2026* In a first for me, a simple set of straps which keep falling off. The buckles are much to big for the material, and no matter how much I overlap the straps, they work loose and they fall off. The end buckles and straps themselves are of good quality. I managed to find some old, tighter buckles to substitute and they now work properly. In the end, they work, but having to mess around like this was a disappointment.
