I bought these as I've just bought some amazing scrapbooks (see my other reviews) and some of the pages in them are black card. I'm didn't want to stick white paper into the scrap books just to write on so I looked for some markers which would write on the black card.I chose these because they have a good range of metalic colours which I like and they are a medium tip which is ideal for these scrap books.I tested a few colours on a piece of black paper and the results were "BRILL". I didnt need to go over any of the letters again and they came out perfect.One of the markers is described as white but its actually clear. I'm not sure why as an actual white would make more sense to me but thats my ignorance I guess.I'd definitely recommend these pens but make sure you don't need a white one

These metallic effect pens were bought for use on a wall painted with blackboard paint. I had hoped to achieve a glitter/metallic effect but I was not overly impressed. There was certainly a sheen but not overly different to the Crayola matt pens I've bought previously. There isn't a varied selection of colours, two greens, two silver, two gold etc, albeit different shades. The white goes on the blackboard almost invisibly and then appears, 'as if by magic', a few seconds later and that isn't great if you're looking for accuracy. They are ok. The ink flows well, apart from white. The tip is good for fine or thicker work but if you're looking for a 'Christmas' effect these pens won't give it.

Bought these as a lightening deal at £5.09. This is about all they are worth -not the £10.99 full price!With prime free delivery they represent good value. The pens themselves do not offer the best metallic effect, some better than others. In all honesty they are not any better than the ones I got from the Pound Shop at £2.99 for 5. In fact the Pound shop pens are more metallic but have a finer tip.These do have a broader bullet tip so are better for me, but would have preferred a chisel tips for a more italic look when writing. Will be fine for my Christmas cards :-D

The product picture makes it appear that the colours are vibrant on black paper, so I bought these and some black card to make my own Christmas cards. The colours are not nearly so vibrant and are quite lack-lustre on black.The range of colours is good. I have never had metallic pens in colours other than gold or silver, so I was pleased with the choices.I have no doubt these will be a good choice for children, but not really that good for adult crafting.

A fantastic set of pens. I have bought cheaper ones in the past and they don’t seem to make an impact on dark paper or card. I have just finished making home made Christmas cards with dark green card, and these pens work fantastically. Even the white works wonderful.Only observation I would give which is slightly negative is that the pen tips are quite thick so difficult to write with.Nonetheless they are still a great purchase and a must for the crafter or arty family!

These are doing a fantastic job decorating some wooden pegs for my son, colours are really pigmented, only required one coat of all except the white, the white is a bit of a let down (at first I thought it was going to be useless but when it dried it was OK, just not as good as the rest)They've even covered some sharpie on our wooden blocks. Look great on paper too.Colours are a bit odd but I like them, bit different to the usual bright bold stuff kids often end up with.

Just received these beautiful selection of colours.I used it straight away , wanted to try it out on my new project .Differently easy to use , ink just glided out nicely on to my resin coasters.No ink leaked but was a nice consistency .So glad I bought them and was exactly what I needed it for.
