I use this in all my bonsai trees have done for years,also use it as a top dressing for potted plants as it keeps away fungus gnats,can be reused also as it doesn't clump or break down,excellent value for money.

Zero absorbency
May as well use pebbles from driveway. Cats leave wet footprints on leaving due to digging in it and being so free draining.Won't be buying again and not recommended.

I'm using this for...
I'm using this for my own succulents soil mix to aid in drainage. It was highly recommended to me by my favourite succulents seller on Etsy UK. It works like a treat and doesn't smell.I even use it as a base beneath my potted fittonia (nerve plant) plants too. I have little trays that I put about 1 inch of the stones in and then add water to almost the top of the stones. Then you sit your potted plant on top of the stones and as the water evaporates it helps to create humidity in the air around the plants which is vital for healthy fittonia's. In just one week of doing this my fittonia's have perked up and noticeably grown.
