Promark 5A 3 Pack - TX5AW American Hickory, Natural Wood Tip Drumsticks

First time playing 5A and I love them, The smaller diameter is great feeling, and fast and articulate. the wooden tips are strong and haven't flaked or chipped. I play pretty loud, and spend a lot of time on the Ride bell, as well as crashing a big heavy ride and these things really stand up well.

For 5A sticks, nothing beats the Promarks. For 2B and 5B I like the Vic Firth sticks, but Promark makes the most balanced, comfortable 5A.

I purchased this for my brother as part of several gifts i gave him for his graduation from music school and out of a couple of movies, a new set of beats headphones and other misc stuff, he spent more time using the drumsticks than anything else. His friends have been wanting these for a long time, when my brother got them, he was extremely happy. The face on my brother when i gave it to him was priceless. Pro-mark did a great job with this set.
