For small project this wire set is excellent - was able to revamp 4 guitars with some left for later projects. I do however wish some extra black was included as it is the most used in most circumstances, maybe just an extra 8 to 12in. still worth it & super nice having the box to keep it organized. Works Great.

I've been working in the electronics field for over 40 years and know my way around wires. I know test lead silicone wire is expensive and only used for special projects. I was a little worried about this wire after reading some of the 1 star reviews. Well, either they had the wrong wire or maybe not very experienced with soldering. First I would like to say the silicone insulation is very flexible and heat resistant. Second, the wire solders just fine. I had no issues with the flux core solder I was using ( Kestor "44" Rosin Core #66/44). I think maybe the bad reviewer didn't have a hot enough soldering tip. I was soldering 14ga wire with a Weller station at 700 degrees and the solder flowed beautifully. i would not hesitate to buy this wire again for future projects. The cost was well worth the quality.

Functions as expected

Smaller than I thought of would be but they're very nice. I rewired my motorcycle with this kit. The silicone insulation is very soft and flexible
