Water Works Curly Hair Shampoo, Clarifying Shampoo for Build Up, Removes Impurities, Maintains Curls' Natural Moisture, For All Curl Types

I discovered this shampoo through Gena Marie’s YouTube channel and after trying it, I see why she likes it so much. A little bit of product goes a long way. I’ve had the bottle since December and it’s not even halfway empty yet. The smell is sweet and subtle. The shampoo effectively cleans my hair without stripping it. I like it more than the L'Oréal clarifying shampoo I was using before.

Great for oily hair

Not stripping but gets the scalp nice and cleans. Hair doesn’t feel dry after use, stays pretty soft even through the ends. Smell is not too overpowering. I do wish this were a bit cheaper, though!

This works well enough to get your hair clean from product build up, and that's what it's meant to do. I just wish it made my hair smell better. It doesn't give much of a fragrance. If you like that, this is for you. If you want a stronger "clean hair smell", you might want to try something else.

I love this shampoo. My hair is between 2c and 3a. I have had such a hard time finding a shampoo that’s is cleansing but not harsh and that is what this gives me. I use this along with Isima superbomba triple repair peptide hair mask once a week and 90% of the time now I’m not even using any other curl products. Soft, frizz free, and so lightweight. Love it!!!

I was introduced to this shampoo by my curly hair specialist, and have used it weekly ever since. I love that it doesn't take a lot to get a real good clean without drying out my curls. My scalp and strands feel clean even after the first wash, but it is good to shampoo twice to get that super clean (with any shampoo.) I can follow it up with a deep condition or regular conditioner depending on what my hair needs, and my hair doesn't get greasy or limp. This size bottle lasts me almost 4 months with weekly use.

Love this stuff! I have long, thick, curly hair and have always struggled with frizz from humidity. This with the conditioner does a nice job of reducing frizz.

This clarifying shampoo works really well! It leaves my hair feeling super clean without making it dry or stripped. It removes buildup and makes my hair feel lighter and fresher. A little goes a long way. Definitely a great addition to my routine.

It works so well - I typically use it once a month with thick, curly hair. I lather it in on my scalp for 30-45 seconds, rinse and add conditioner to the ends. I do apply a leave in conditioner afterwards to help hydrate the scalp again but there's no leftover product afterwards!

I guess that is the purpose of this shampoo since it said “chelating”, but it totally dried out my hair to the max, will not recommend and will not repurchase.
