When there was rain or a chance it would seep under the porch, I've just placed that other trap on some wood to get it off the concrete and out of reach of water. What I DON'T Like about that trap is that it's very difficult to bait as there is no "door" or easy way to access from the back on the bait side and you have to push through the peanut butter on the end of a 10 inch stick or attempt to drip it into the trap at an angle to get it to the final electrical pad that the rodent has to lick in order to set off the electricity. As time has gone by, that end of the trap is turning nasty as you have to roll a cloth or papertowel onto the end of a stick like a giant Q-Tip to wipe that end of the trap out. This one looks better designed and easy to use and clean out.
