A very good book on the Winchester Model 50. Especially valuable instructions on how to adjust the recoil spring so you won't crack the receiver.

It was great ! Helped my gunsmith fix my gun!! 5 stars as far as I am concerned.

I purchased this so that I could removed the wood and refinish the stocks. I had hoped to see how the guts of the butt stock went togetherand also the removal of the metal from the forearm. Also a picture of the bolt.This fails in these respects as the diagrams suck!! You can not read them from the crappy illustrations! They are just not clear.No mention on the forearm removal from the metal. Fail! No clear drawing of the bolt! Fail! I need to see the rivets that hold the charging handle on the bolt. Fail.Piss poor!

Has good information for the weapon. Good information on break-down and cleaning information. One thing that it didn't clearly explain was indexing the recoil spring plug to ensure the bolt comes back with proper clearance, but you should get the point.
