Delicioso! For some reason it's hard to find California peppers here and I can't substitute them with another kind like Ancho because it has a unique sweet mild flavor. These were perfect, clean, freshly dried, and delicious! The Chile Colorado sauce I made was heavenly.

I have rehydrated these and I have also toasted them. Either way they work perfectly for making salsas, which is why I purchased them. The flavor is very very good.
