The Good Stuff โค๏ธ
This is proper Matcha. It can be hard to find good quality Matcha, especially on Amazon. I would highly recommend this to any tea lover. It goes well in ceremonial settings, or if you want to whip up a nice latte. Blendability is solid with no clumping. It is a smooth and tasty journey from your first sip, to your last. Great value for the money. Iโll be back ๐.

Expensive, but unfortunately worth itโฆ
I try to stick to the spirit of matcha. Itโs supposed to be a cheap tea, the cheapest you can find- and itโs supposed to be brewed with the closest care and consideration one is able to muster. Okakura kakuzo (the author of โThe Book of Tea), definitely lived in a different time. A time when even the lowest cost manufacturers cared about the quality of their product. Cheap does not mean lacking in quality- and my terrible experiences with most other matchaโs on the market, lead me here. Much to the chagrin of my wallet, I purchased Matcha Moon based on accolades from โSamurai Matchaโ on YouTube (a non-sponsored recommendation, from a beloved content creator) I have to say. I am thoroughly impressed. No bitterness AT ALL. Even when brewed a little too hot, or with a high powder/water ratio. This product is grassy, bright, and light. Not the โrichestโ of matchaโs, but certainly the most WELL BALANCED. Iโm just gonna have to take the punch to my coin purse and call this a necessity. The larger quantity is a much better value than the 1oz one. Iโll try to stretch it.

Delicious Matcha
Delicious Matcha for a late drink or by itself. I like it creates consistent micro foam when you whisk it.

its alright
ive been using this matcha 2-3 times a day since ive had it. I can say this matcha's flavor is nothing special, does not really have any sweetness to it, it taste how you think matcha would taste, doesn't have a grassy taste to it tho, has a nice green color, doesn't taste expensive ykwim, I dont think I would recommend this matcha to anyone just because of basic the flavor is, I bought the 100 gram variety so im stuck with it for a while, Im sure there is way better out there within this price range, -if you want to try a really unique flavor matcha- try nami matcha, I think of that matcha everyday, taste expensive and smooth, this matcha is smooth too but just basic tasting

Delicious and buttery smooth
I just recently fell in love with green tea lattes. I had my first one at Starbucks a month ago. I loved it more than coffee! I don't like sugar in my drinks, though. The latte I had was a little sweet. I also am used to drinking good Japanese senchas. So I decided to start making my own. I did a little research and purchased this product for several reasons: * I understood it was not bitter. * I wanted a high quality product to start with, so I would know what some of the best matchas taste like first. I probably won't be able to buy this expensive matcha for daily use, but I after having it I can shop for other matchas that I like for that purpose. * I wanted a Japanese tea. For many years, I haven't had a Chinese tea that I like. They all have a bitter tang on my tongue. * I wanted tea that was grown far from Fukushima. I made my first matcha at home from this tea. It was a little clumpy (I didn't do a good enough job of mixing and don't have a whisk yet) but the tea came out just fine. It was very delicious and smooth tasting. I got to the end and realized, I don't even want milk with this tea. I just want to drink this tea plain with water. It's that good. There was absolutely no bitterness. It was just a gentle flavor. So very lovely. I really am very pleased with this little tin of tea, yet was really surprised by the small amount of tea that you get. When you empty the tea (it is packaged in plastic) into the tin, it comes to about 3/4 full. It's a very very small amount for the price. This particular matcha will be saved for a treat. I have to say I feel quite nice after this wonderful tea.

Great matcha
This is by far the best matcha I have used. My husband first bought it for me as a gift and now I canโt go back to a different brand. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality matcha.

My Everyday Matcha
UPDATED REVIEW: I ordered my last batch from Matcha Moon in December 2021. I was very disappointed with the last batch, as well as the 2 before it. Something changed with the matcha, and not for the better. The color that was once a vivid green is now a yellowish green. The flavor is no where near where it used to be. I feel this matcha would be sufficient for culinary uses, but is no longer suitable for my needs. Culinary matcha also tends to be much cheaper than this. It was a good run, and I used it for a long time, but with the recent changes it is no longer for me. ----------------------------- I drink this matcha every day and have since about 2017. Started with the Spring Zen variety, and moved on to the Pure Zen. The flavor (once I got used to it, give it a few shots of you're new) is incredible. It's the perfect color of green in my book. The scent is intoxicating. Always fresh, easy to whisk with little to no clumps (none if run through a strainer first). Makes me feel more alert than any energy drink I've ever had, and has no crash. I highly recommend this tea to anyone who's looking for the authentic matcha experience.

Worth it
Iโm not an expert on matcha, but it tastes good (not too bitter), itโs smooth, and calms me while a bit of caffeine kick. Worth it for me if I buy the larger quantity

Resembles green tea
Maybe it'll be more to do with individual preferences, but as comparing to other well-known products matcha powder of these brands such as Ippodo, or Marukyu Koyamaen, or Itoen, the taste is much milder and resembles kind of bitterness of green tea instead. It's still good to have it but I personally would keep my favourite routine match to above mentioned brands.
