Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Case – Brilliant Design with Exceptional Airflow
Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW Tempered Glass Case – Brilliant Design with Exceptional AirflowI’ve been using the Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW for my latest PC build, and it’s easily one of the best cases I’ve worked with. It combines stylish aesthetics with practical features that cater to both performance and ease of use.Design and Build:The smoked tempered glass panel is a real standout feature, giving the case a premium and modern look. It beautifully showcases the internal components, especially when paired with good RGB lighting. The build quality is excellent overall, with a sturdy frame and thoughtfully designed layout.Airflow and Cooling:As the name suggests, airflow is where this case shines. I’ve set mine up with six fans, two of which are mounted on an AIO CPU cooler, and the cooling performance is exceptional. The case is designed to optimise airflow, keeping my components cool even under heavy loads. This is especially important for my setup, which includes a Radeon 7900 XTX graphics card. Despite the card’s size, it fits perfectly with plenty of clearance, which is a huge plus.Ease of Building:There’s ample room for accessing and installing components. Cable management is a breeze thanks to the generous routing channels and included Velcro straps. Even with the AIO cooler and multiple fans, the case didn’t feel cramped. It’s an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced builders alike.Customisation and Creativity:One thing to note is that while the case itself is reasonably priced, the front grille replacements can be quite expensive. Instead of purchasing one, I decided to laser-cut my own grille out of birch plywood, and it worked beautifully at a fraction of the cost. This adds a personal touch and makes the build even more unique.Pros:Superb airflow design for excellent coolingSmoked tempered glass panel for a premium aestheticPlenty of space for larger components like the Radeon 7900 XTXEasy cable management and installationSolid build quality with a sleek, modern lookCons:Front grilles are pricey if you want to buy replacementsCould include more fan mounts or filters for added flexibilityConclusion:The Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW is a brilliant case that balances form and function. With its sleek design, exceptional cooling capabilities, and spacious interior, it’s perfect for high-performance builds. While the front grille cost is a minor downside, creative solutions like making your own can easily solve this. If you’re looking for a stylish and practical case with superb airflow, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

A Cool Performer
The Corsair 400d is a fantastic mid-tower case that excels in one crucial area: cooling. Its thoughtfully designed airflow channels and generous ventilation ensure that your components stay cool under even the heaviest workloads. Here's why I'm impressed:Excellent Airflow:The 400d features ample front, top, and rear intake vents, allowing for optimal airflow throughout the case.Smart Cable Management:The case includes dedicated cable routing channels and tie-downs, making it easy to keep your build clean and tidy, further improving airflow.Supports High-End Components:You can easily fit high-end graphics cards, CPU coolers, and multiple drives within this case. For those bigger GPU’s simply remove the fairing from inside the case.Easy to Build In:The 400d has a spacious interior and tool-less drive bays, making the building process a breeze.Stylish Design:The case has a sleek, modern aesthetic that will look great in any setup.Overall:The Corsair 400d is a strong contender in the mid-tower market. If you prioritize excellent cooling performance and a user-friendly build experience, this case is an excellent choice.I hope this review is helpful!

Great case, just wish it came with more fans
Bought this case to build a budget PC out of older spare parts (GTX980ti, i7 7700k) and wanted a solid case with space to upgrade.Assembly: I'm no PC building pro, last time I built one was 12 years ago. The build process following a guide from Linus Tech Tips was working without a hitch regarding the case (had a problem with the Motherboard which had nothing to do with the case). It's got plenty of space for most Motherboards, my PSU installed easy and i like that i can tuck cables neatly behind the panel.Filters and Fans: Case comes with two fans; one in on the front and one out on the back. Those are preinstalled, sound quiet and work well. They do not have RGB if you care about that. For my build that is enough but there is space for two more on the front, which are shown in the marketing material but not included. I know I could have read it more closely but I just assumed I get what's in the picture. I think the filters are easy to remove and clean and i like the asthetic of the top filter a lot.Quality: I think the quality of the metal, glass and other things like the power button is all good. Nothing to complain about.
