They're likely not suitable for heavy-duty tasks like cutting aluminum or metal.
I bought a few of these for my smaller multi-heads cnc setup, and so far, the motors run very quietly. They're likely not suitable for heavy-duty tasks like cutting aluminum or metal but they work well on wood and other lighter materials. I'm not pushing them too hard, so I can't speak to their performance under high-stress conditions. One important thing to note is that there’s no wiring diagram or documentation included with this purchase. You’ll need to do some research online or rely on your own experience to get everything set up. Specifically, make sure the REV/FOR (reverse/forward) connection is properly wired—without it, the motor won't run.

Quick delivery (9 days from order to having it in my hands) and surprisingly quiet.
I needed a spindle for a small cnc I'm making and I didn't want to jump to a 500w one. other spindles under 200w were ugly or non ER collet. arrived quickly and works very well. Would like it if they included the necessary 5.1K potentiometer for the AIN control or a clear guide on using the PWM but given the price which includes the BLDC driver and aluminum mounting bracket, it's a very good deal for anyone planning to do PCB, wood and very small scale aluminum machining.

Lacks Documention.
I rate it a 4.9. This device rarely shows up on an Amazon search for CNC spindles. It is hard to find. It needs an additional circuit diagram.

Spindle will not turn off unless FOR/ REV pins are open
I like this little spindle, but the driver needs work. I got the spindle working via PWM, but the spindle will not turn off unless the FOR pin is in a OPEN state. I have yet to figure out how to get my GRBL controller to flip a pin from being OPEN to being ground. You can't use a TTL pin either because 5v across the FOR pin is the same as ground where both levels turn the spindle on. The only way as of right now is to install a physical switch. I want to be able to fully control the spindle via software.

everything is working good
The motor is small enough and quiet. With AIN control the minimum speed is 1900 RPM, maximum speed is 10400 RPM. Just do not forget to chose correct mode of controller (PWM or AIN)

Essentially worthless piece of junk
Didn't get around to setting it up until after the return window, so I am stuck with this piece of garbage. There is analog (5V) input and PWM mode, but no instructions on using PWM mode. The spindle never gets up to speed. It doesn't matter if there is 5V going into the analog input and the reference voltage, it will only try to start when you ground out either forward or reverse pins. It tries to spin up, then the alarm lights start to flash. The process then repeats over and over again with the spindle never getting up to speed.

Not what I needed
Ordered this by mistake thinking it was larger. Not the fault of the seller at all and was my mistake. The item although small had some weight to it and spun smoothly. I ended up returning it for a larger spindle. However this would be perfect for a small form factor CNC machine for sure!

The collet size is not er11
Not happy about the collet size

No corresponde la medida del collet con la descripción
En la descripción se refiere a un collet ER11, pero llegó con un collet ER8. No se ha montado aún, pero en las pruebas iniciales todo ha funcionado bien, vibración y ruido mínimos.
