Detector saved my life.
Last evening at 9 pm. my kidde alarm when off. I have a wood stove and sometimes I can get a little smoke in the house and the alarm has gone off for that. But last night it started saying, carbon monoxide. That has never happened before. I called 911, they said to get out of the house and wait. When the fire department came they said I had high levels of carbon monoxide in the house. 60%The alarm is upstairs high on the ceiling near the top of the stairs. I was watching TV downstairs and first I heard the beeping, I turned down the TV volume and clearly heard the voice warning for Carbon Monoxide. The fire department said I was lucky. They said I should have a detector on all levels. Carbon Monoxide stays low to the ground where as smoke goes up. By the time the Carbon Monoxide got upstairs to trigger the alarm there was already a major build up of the poison gas downstairs. This morning the plumber is on his way over to figure out where the gas came from. I just order two more Kidde detectors, just like the one that saved me last night.

Cost Effective Way to Prevent both CO and Fires
They arrived on time, in perfect condition and were easy to install. The unit runs on batteries only, which is good for me because I'm not going to re-wire the houses for them. Very happy with the purchase. If you're in the market for a unit that covers both CO and Fire, and you don't have the house wired for them, then I recommend this unit.

Very sensitive
It is a genuine product. I didn’t expect the quality to be quite good. There is no sense of cheapness. The sound is also loud. I tried it with a cigarette and the response is sensitive. I bought this one first. There are many rooms in the house and I will repurchase it!

Works great. Does what it should
Tested and working perfectly. Only downside is the blinking of the led to show its functioning is very very bright. Had to tint the led to dim it a little bit to be able to sleep in the same room

Very nice!
Slim design, looks nice and functions great! Haven’t tested to CO levels but everything is good so far. Couldn’t be easier to install.

One didn't work at all
One works fine. I even tried different batteries and get nothing. Now I don't really trust them and want to get name brand.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Combo Detector
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The product was easy to install and the blinking light and will let you know when your battery is running low. Now I can sleep at night. I recommend this product!!

So glad I bought these they are small but does exactly what they’re supposed to do. Replaced all of the smoke detectors throughout the house with these.
