My husband (of 10 years) and I purchased this to have something fun to do together during quarantine to keep us active. As we are both recently laid off due to COVID, we have more time together then either of us would ever ask for. Upon the kits arrival, we were both ecstatic at how nice everything that came with it was, considering it's much cheaper then a lot of other brands. Everything is of extremely good quality. Including very well written and easy to understand instructions with pictures to match (great for beginners like us!). It was a breeze to set up in our local park. The problem came when I was surprisingly really quick with getting a hang of slack lining, while my husband was not. Instead of him doing his best to practice he would easily get upset and give up. This lead to him not wanting to go to the park with me. As I spent more and more time on the line, I obviously got better as it's so much fun and has only a little learning curve. After a few days I really got pretty good. I would get home and he would huff and puff about me being selfish and how we were supposed to be doing it together. I talked him into coming to the park with me again and giving it more of a try. There was quite a few people at the park this day. As he was trying I'd gently give him tips and tricks to help him grasp it. I would get on and demonstrate what I meant to make it as clear as possible. At this point there was a few people standing around and watching. One person walked up to ask how much I charge for lessons, as it looked like that was what I was doing because I'm so much better then him. This absolutely enraged my husband. He stormed off and made the 45 minute walk home, despite having our car there. When I got home he sat me down and told me it was either him or the slack line. I looked him straight in the eyes and told him I was going back to the park to practice. It's been a few days, the longest we've ever gone without speaking, and I couldn't be happier with this amazing slack line! John, if you're reading this, I want the ZenMonkey sticker that came with the kit back!!
