Leatherette Vintage Journal Hard Cover Lined Notebook Old Looking Travel Diary, A5 Size 5.7'' x 8.1''

This journal has thick luxurious paper, TWO ribbon markers (complementary to the design/color) and the cover is beautiful. It is lighter than I expected which is wonderful because it will be easy to carry anywhere. I didn't expect gilded edges, but the top of the journal pages were gilded. That aspect may be imperfect, but so am I, so I love it. Now I need find a reason to get the teal one.

Just recently one of my uncle's passed away, and my mom asked me to look for some journals to give to his children. When my grandpa passed away that's what helped my mom cope and she was hoping it would do the same. I found these journals and fell in love with them. I ordered 2 brown ones for the boys and 2 turquoise for the girls. The binding is so beautiful and the packing was perfect. We received them on time with no problems or damage. I am planning on getting one for myself very soon.

My main complaint is my fountain pen ink shows through the pages. I'm really really picky about this though.I didn't look at the images quite close enough to see that the gilding is only on the top edge, so I was going to complain about it not being finished. But that's my bad.I love the size of the book and the number of pages! And the cover is just beautiful and I love that it's not made from skin.I'm not sure yet if I'd buy another one for myself. If I end up not writing in this one I think it would be very nice to do collage in, which is something I've been wanting to get back to anyway.

Journal looks beautiful and quality is awesome. Pages are thick and rough.Pages are made for ballpoint pen writing only. I have used Fountain Pen and Rollerball, Gel pens and I can feel writing is rough. So Better use the Ballpoint pen. That would make a Great journal.

From the moment I opened the package I knew that this journal was a great fit for me starting the new year. I was originally trying to find a journal similar to my last and had been searching for days before I came across this book. My last journal was much more expensive, close to $45 with 380 pages and 27 line each page. It lasted me up to two years worth of writing, as I write regularly. This journal is just a little bit smaller with 320 pages and 22 lines per page. The quality is really good for the price paid. It's a beautiful journal. I have no regrets. It would make a perfect gift for those who love to write.

I like to write about whatever I’m reading and learning about , no matter the subject. When listening to a motivational speaker, a teacher , a pastor. It’s a way of remembering, and attaining good information. Sometimes people say things that just noteworthy! And I find inspiration in Christian song lyrics worth writing out.

I absolutely love this journal. I have been an avid journaler for years and I used to get my journals from Marshall’s / TJ Maxx, but they don’t carry them anymore. I tried looking up the brands of previous journals I’ve had to no avail.I searched the web high and low for a journal this size with this amount of pages and literally came up with zero... until I found this one.It’s beautifully crafted, so sturdy, and clean. It makes for such an enjoyable writing experience!

I absolutely love the sturdiness and texture of the cover, bind, and paper along with the covers’ design. As you open the bind and write on pages, the book actually closes afterwards and doesn’t do that half close thing with its cover propped open. I gifted this to myself and I love it. Highly recommended — this brand never lets you down!
