Holiday Odor Absorbing Solid Air Freshener, Holly Jolly Peppermint, 7-Ounce, Pack of 3

Needed for an unused room that I spotted mice droppings in. Tried one out from a friend and was shocked. I chose to try this method bc plug-ins tear my sinuses up to the point of an infection. Now I will say that I need a mask when I open the door lol....BUT I have YET to see another dropping and it's been since Christmas. The scent seeps thru the walls and baseboards when placed on the floor and creates a very unattractive scent for "visitors". I am still able to light candles and my oil mist diffuser and enjoy the aroma (meaning, the scent is strong/lasting, but not overpowering). I also noticed that my plant bugs have disappeared, so I did some googling and found the peppermint scent is also a deterrent for flies, gnats, etc. Could have just been a one time thing...but I don't have time to find out. Was super excited to see that these were online. Just purchased my own batch as the scent is just now barely starting to fade. Great value.

The smell is gross, no way does it smell like Winter Wonder Green. Regret this purchase

Used it to put in the bottom of the trash can and it seems to work really well at keeping odors neutralized with a hint of mint. Would be nice if you could mix-and-match three different fragrances to "test" instead of having to buy all three the same fragrance...more cost effective to buy three at a time...but will buy singles until I'm "sold" on the overall fragrance and longevity. (The cedar, bake shop and orange will be my next choices.) What I found to be particularly nice for a change was that there are no smelly, slimy, gooey balls that leak out of the packaging...instead, a well packed, sturdy disc with a securely sealed pull-top adhesive seal to lock in the aroma.

Smells amazing when you first open it. After about a week, the smell is very minimal. You have to get very close to smell it. It was great at first, but I wish the scent would have lasted for a longer time.

These smell great! I love to put them in my car and in closets. They do NOT last long, though. All in all, they are not worth the price.

Update 10/8/2021: Mice came back this year. Bought more of these deodorizers but mice just won't leave now. It's a nightmare. I've tried everything I could think or researched. Sorry, it looks like they build ammunity to the smell or it's so cold they deal with the smell. Extremely annoying! I am about to tell you an excellent use for these deoderizers that I do not believe is mentioned anywhere and most people may not think of. Every winter I am invaded by mice. I can catch a couple in regular mouse traps, a couple in glue traps, a couple in electronic mouse traps and so on. I can never get totally rid of them until summer comes around. I know this because there are a few places where they leave their "trails" every single day. I even read that they don't like mint so I tried mint sprays and incense, which did not work either. However, I bought 6 of these and put them all over the house and cleaned their daily "trails". The mice moved out the same day! No more "trails" to clean up every day. If you have a mouse problem I would definitely recommend. Oh, I also bought some for my girlfriend and she has not seen any mice since then either!

Sadly, these smell good (like real peppermint oil), and they didn't bother any of my allergies, but I could barely smell them. I thought maybe my living room was too large so I put out a second one... Still couldn't smell it. Then the third, but still never noticed the smell. I really wanted to keep these around regularly. However I see no purpose if the scent isn't noticeable. I use fresh laundry scent in my closets, otherwise I would've tried it there (wondering if maybe a small enclosed space could help).

Don’t waste your money on these! I should have read the reviews before I bought them! I’ve used Citrus Magic in the past and loved it, but these don’t work at all. When you first open one, there is a very faint peppermint smell if you put your nose right up to the vents, but that’s the only scent you get. I placed one behind the toilet in a postage-stamp sized guest bath and closed the door. Usually that’s enough to get any solid air freshener to fill the room with fragrance. This one – nothing, nada, zilch. I wish there was a zero-star rating.
