Informative, great book for a beautiful breed!

So far this book has been very informative. I purchased for my son who is 17. He also felt the information was easy to understand.

I’ve already known a lot about the breed but this book goes above and beyond and is incredibly easy to read. The layout is perfect from how to find one and which kind you want to get, from a breeder or from a rescue and Al throughout the life of a Belgian Malinois. I truly love this book and it offers a bunch of notes too! Truly great and 100% needed if you want more information or are trying to have a Belgian in the future!

Detail info about Malinois. Book makes reference to my breeder. That was a nice surprise. Book is easy to read. I recommend book to be purchased the book before buying a Belgian Malinois puppy.

This is a great book to read before owning a Malinois or even if you already own one! It has pictures from actual owners to get a real life idea of all the different temperaments and personalities of the breed. A wonderful book and definitely recommend to read!

It’s a book on a specific breed, the Belgian Malinois. I am getting ready to bring home my little girl, Kikka, next week and found it to be a good book for preparing for her arrival. That said, if you’ve owned dogs before, there are no big surprises, but some good reminders.

This book is lacking in that the author may be a dog person, but doesn’t own a Malinois. Seller was fast.

Muy buen libro para principiantes que adquirieron cualquier raza de cachorro. Tiene datos interesantes sobre la raza Belgian Malinois y en cuales son los deportes en donde se usa este tipo de perros. Tiene fotos muy bonitas de la raza. Da estrategias para sobrellevar la adquisición de un perro, para los que ya han tenido mascota de raza grande y enérgica será muy "x" el libro, pero si eres principiante en adiestramiento y quieres saber el origen de la raza, es excelente.

Este libro te hace pensar en aspectos que quizas ni te has planteado antes de tener al perro, y te aporta informacion muy util. Muy contenta de haberlo leido, y preparada para el reto.

This book could’ve been shorter considering a lot has to do with general dog guardianship (hygiene, training, vet vists, etc) There are a few chapters that talk about the malinois specifically (general temperament, history and common health problems for the breed) but honestly, it’s nothing an internet search won’t tell you already. There is good advice in this book, but there’s also pretty outdated information so use your discretion when reading. Overall not the worst, but certainly not the best. Probably better to talk to a malinois breeder or someone that owns one to give you the full scoop about these pooches.
