Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 XMS3 on DELL 435MT i7
I have been running a Dell 435MT with 4GB (stock) DDR3 memory. (Note that the Dell 4x1GB config does NOT allow for triple-channel mode.) Running Windows 7 x64 Beta 24x7; NLE video editing, digital photo management, web development, (always) playing music, and easing my way into x64 programming. Last week I decided to jump the gun and purchased this 3x2GB pack. Naturally, it meant that one of the 1GB stock strips had to go. Now running a triple-channel configuration of 3x(2+1GB) = 9GB. The machine flies doing ANYTHING you throw at it. Later I will run vBox virtual machines for testing and development purposes, and the amount of memory will come in handy. Probably will perform some benchmarks later on. I mainly decided to write this (my first) review, to inform that 1) the items perform up to expectations. 2) they are surely compatible with the Dell Studio 435MT. 3) give an indication of usage patterns where the memory comes in handy. Cheers.

Corsair TR3X6G1333C9 6 GB (3x2) Memory Kit
I have not had much luck with this memory. I built a new system from the ground up. Started out with two sets of memory (12GB) which worked fine for @ a month then one set failed. I tried dealing with Corsair but due to non-existant customer service I gave up and returned them to Amazon for a refund (no exchange was possible at that time) & purchased a replacement set. These arrived as scheduled yesterday. These were not packaged well and may have been damaged in transit since they would not work. I tried each stick individually in the proper slot for testing and each failed start up. These are also going to be sent back to Amazon and I will wait to add the additional memory.

Not compatible with Intel boards
FYI, as with the 1 star post, the memory does not seem to be compatible with my Intel motherboard. All the 5 star posts seem to be from people with other brand boards. So if you have an Asus board or any other brand but Intel, get this, it will work great (others say), but if you have an Intel board stay far far away!

Good RAM for the Price, but one of six sticks bad
I had a pretty typical Corsair experience with this RAM in that the first set of three that I orded worked OOTB in my GA-X58A-UDR3 motherboard. I orded a second set to get some 12GB RAM goodness and one stick failed memtest+ 86 v4.2 between 2 seconds and six minutes no matter how much voltage I gave it, what slot on the board was used and even underclocking it with slacked timings. Spent a halfday figuring out which stick was bad. Amazon customer service won back the day by cross-shipping a replacement set which worked OOTB as with my first set of three. 24hr memtest+ tortured with over 8 full passes, zero errors. Stable PC. Happy customer. 1 out of 9 sticks bad: not great, Corsair. Thanks to Amazon for backing up your products.

What to say... it's RAM and it works.
Pretty good RAM. Purchased for an i7 920 to go along with another identical 6GB kit I bought in May 2009, which is also still running strong. It brought the total RAM in my system to 12GB. It helps when running game servers and still using my computer to play on said servers as well as multitasking other things like running music apps and tabbing out to look something up on the web. I ran a memory test on it when I got it and it reported no errors. I'm pretty happy with it overall.

Great RAM, nothing wrong with it, installed easy, replaced my old Elpida 3GB. (1gbx3) DDR3-1067@7-7-7. Now one thing that I didn't expect is it actually improved my boot times by about 2 secs. Nothing groundbreaking, but nice feeling. So, I decided to check how low timings can go. Advertised @ 1333 9-9-9 Success on 8-8-8 Black screen on 7-7-7 Failed on 8-7-7 (maybe 8-8-7 good? not tested) ---end of testing, no voltage bumps. I decided it won't give me much noticable performance increase if I tweak timings any lower, and long time to test for stability, so sticking with 8-8-8...tested and stable, so that's good. overall Great RAM for the price...I wouldn't go for higher-end ram because in real world, it doesn't give you much perforance boost, only in synthetic benchmarks...a.k.a. a bunch of numbers where you see what is faster.. Vista 64 bit Asus p6t deluxe i7 920 3.5 HT off Corsair XMS3 6 GB. (2gbx3) 1333 @ 8-8-8 @ 1.5v Crucial 120 GB SSD firmware 0008 Seagate 500 GB HDD Seagate 1 TB HDD 460 GTX 1gb. Creative soundcard

2 out of 3 worked good.
Ram is good, if youre lucky enough to get all working modules. P6T Deluxe, i7 920. Ram worked as specified. One module would not get detected. Failed the memtest. RMA in progress to Corsair directly. EDIT: Corsair replaced my RAM without a hassle. It works good now, runs at the advertised speeds and is very stable. Perfect for my i7 overclock.

Corsair memory Lane
When I purchased this memory I really didn't need it,but for the price and looking on ebay an other places .This was the deal. So I bought it and it is great memory and have had no problems with it at all. I'm glad that I got it now because I know I would have to get it sooner or later and believe me....The price was right. It even had a rebate with it. Inbelievible. Great deal.....
