The kit and stamped pattern on the framed board was so easy to use for a beginner in needle punch. The finished project is so cute on my grandson's woodland theme room.I enjoyed using the wool yarn so much more than floss.

There wasn't enough yarn and the colors were off from the product picture.The instructions were abysmal. They tell you how to load a punch needle tool that is totally different from what they provide you with. They tell you to go to an instagram which is supposed to have ‘tutorials’ but that account is promotional and not educational. I found it to be a waste of time.In short, it’s almost $30 for some yarn (not enough of certain colors) and a printed pattern on some stretched out muslin fabric. Is that worth it? I don’t personally think so with how lacking the instructions were. I feel that in these kits, the instructions should be legible and easy to follow since you are overpaying for materials.After watching tutorials on YouTube, I figured it out myself and I did manage to complete the project but it was a pain.

Easy and cute, but be aware that the instructions are nonsensical, really bad, and probably machine translated from Mandarin Chinese.Watch some YouTube videos for how-to, then give it a shot. You can rip your stitches out without hurting anything. Just rub the holes out of the monks cloth with your fingers.They do supply way more yarn than you need, so that's a bonus.

There is no where near enough white yarn included I the kit and just barely enough orange. This has been a really fun little project, but very unhappy I have to hunt a match for the yarn to finish.

Got this to see if I'd like to take up punch needle. This was such a fun project! Only took me maybe an hour or two and it turned out great! I was worried I'd run out of yarn after reading a few reviews, but I had some of every color left over once I was done. So glad I gave this a try, I'll be getting more supplies to make my own patterns soon!! The quality of the canvas was fantastic, so I think I might use this seller again too!

We've never done this craft before and it was fun and easy. I like the design and colors, too. It helps to look at videos to get started.

Final product is pretty nice, but it really needs good directions to be a beginner set, and it just doesn’t have those. If you’re willing to scour YouTube yourself and watch 3 or 4 videos to figure out what they could have told you in instructions, you may enjoy it. But probably not a good choice for a gift.

the wooden handled punch needle that came with this kit plus the yarn included in the kit provided too much friction and would not work to punch needle (smaller yarn would work). I supplied a different punch needle style (same size) and it worked fine as the kit yarn smoothly slid through the punch needle (it's not you if you run into this issue!). the fabric attached to the frame is a little frustrating to use because you can't adjust the tension on it as you could in a hoop, but it does work. the quality and quantity of yarn for this design is fine. cute designs.
