These are very easy to use! I used two of the two packs (four lighted rope strands altogether) to decorate my mini horse’s cart for a lighted Christmas Parade. I put one strand on each cart shaft and two strands around the cart’s seat and floorboards. I’m sharing three photos of the lights on the mini horse’s cart. The first one was photographed outdoors in the grass. The second photo was taken inside a garage with a smooth concrete floor. The third photo was taken with the mini horse pulling the cart on an asphalt road along the lighted parade route.*They DO NOT come with a power pack. You have to purchase that separately. I used my phone’s back up battery pack and a DeWalt tool battery with their USB adapter add on. The remote is easy to use, but I was never able to figure out how to choose a color and then add a flashing/fading feature to just that color. So I figure you either get to choose a solid color or a flashing mode that goes through all the colors, but not both. (**There are no instructions in the box.) There is a button on the USB end of each strand that goes through all the selections of colors and modes if you misplace your remote.I ordered the two pack and it comes with two remotes. If you have many on the light strands together, they will all change at the same time with one remote.These LED rope lights are nice and bright. They are great for lighted parades using USB chargers. I received many compliments on these lights at the lighted parade with most people commenting how they liked how bright they were. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend these lights if you are considering them.

The media could not be loaded. Nice lights for the price. Bright, can change the colors easily. Quality is good. Wish it came with a little bag to store in when not in use. Bought to use as a night light in our enclosed trailer when camping and they work perfectly. Would purchase again!

Update:The seller contacted me after my initial review and sent me replacement remote (actually full set) and rather quickly and Apologized for the remote issues so far the new remote is working wellInitial review:, I really wanted to love this. I got this for my child as a gift and we finally got them up a few weeks ago. The colors are absolutely beautiful and all the settings are cool, HOWEVER the on/off button on the remote never works on the first try, the buttons already completely worn out after just weeks because it has to be pressed at least 5 times each try at turning it on/off. We've tried to ignore it but then last night it started changing light colors instead of off when attempting to turn it off multiple times then finally did. So the lights themselves are great and colorful, but nit so helpful when the remote doesn't work well.

These lights are extremely bright and look great. Each string (you get two strings) are 33-feet long so the total length is 66-feet. I bought two sets, so in the pictures you can see four strings on the bushes in front of my house. I do wish each string was at least twice as long - and you cannot extend the string length because they do NOT plug into each other.Please also realize that these lights are powered from USB plug-ins - NOT typical two-prong plug-ins, so you will need to buy and configure power strips or USB/AC power ports in order to power them. I bought a bought two “Tessan electrical 4 outlet expanders with 3 USB wall charger/multi plug extender splitters” on Amazon that allowed me to plug directly in to my icicle lights in order to power the 4 LED light strings.The remote control works very well and one remote can control all four of my strings at once. The remotes work by “line of sight” to where the USB plugs in to the power source. Since I can see the USB plug-ins from the window of my house I can control the lights from the inside of my house. There is also a button on the USB plug-in to control each individual string.Again, these lights are extremely bright. They also have many different patterns that you can set and they look amazing from the street. I would not hesitate to buy these lights again, but I do wish they were much longer since you cannot plug one string into another.

Can’t beat it for the price and functions. First string was on photocell to turn on at dust off at dawn. . Lasted almost a year in Florida which is longer than I expected for $20. I used them on our gate which opens from street to our yard. So bright I can see them flashing behind our blackout curtains at night.

I had hooked it up worked fine went to move it andd only a few lights came on. After inspected it discoverd one of the elements had snapped.

The media could not be loaded. When I received the leds, they looked pretty good hanging up, and though I was a little disappointed the fading colors don’t really fade (more like a blink/jump, which was kind of a bummer since I like fading colors), I still wanted to keep these because they looked cool in my kitchen. However, I happened to notice that the plastic part that connects the leds and usb part weren’t connected and there were WIRES dangling from where the connection had fallen off. It seemed like this could be a potentially dangerous fire hazard so I immediately took them down, but was bummed because they looked so nice :( I ordered a replacement so I’ll update if it goes better this time!UPDATE:I really wanted to like these. I really did. I never do replacements but I really liked these and wanted them to work so badly! The flexibility is really awesome since strip lights don’t bend easily, the colors are vibrant and pretty when they do work, and they’re the perfect size for smaller spaces, and aren’t too bulky/cumbersome like other rope lights I’ve had before. So I received my replacement today, and this time I was finally able to get them to turn on after initially not working at all, but when the LEDs did turn on, they were stuck on white and wouldn’t do anything else no matter what button I pushed on the remote (see video). Will be returning these and hoping to get my money back, very frustrating and disappointing :(
