Lava Lamp Projector in Silver - Blue/Green

I bought this for my 28 year old son who has cerebral palsy. He loves it and its fantastic.

Wonderful, relaxing.

The projected wheel is smaller than I'd expected but maybe that was my own expectations. Got this for my ASD son for Christmas. It's nice and goes well with the other lights I have for his sensory room but I Consider it to be overpriced (sorry Mathmos)

I have purchased Mathmos products in the past, so I was looking forward to receiving this and the usual Mathmos quality. Item arrived quickly, thanks to Prime. Unboxing proved a disappointing experience with the projector being extremely lightweight and very plasticky. The transformer is well made and and made up for most the weight of the box. Plugging the first Space Projector in gave rise to more disappointment. The projected diameter is fairly narrow and fairly feeble, so you have to have the projector very close the the surface to get a decent 'image' of any brightness or clarity (very dim room, white walls and ceilings). In my view £30 would be pushing it, so for £130 you'd expect a lot more. Just my opinion!

The space projector is excellent, but if you have a small room or live in a small flat the protected image is a bit small

Love to relax with the candles lit and listen to music with my atmospheric light moving around my ceiling! Helps me totally relax!

Bought this for a Christmas present for my son, he loved it

This is a great bit of kit & can be used in many different circumstances. Especially great for chilling out to & for adding to party atmospheres. I only wish it was more powerful. If mine broke I would by again.

Ich finde das Gerät einfach toll. Es ist bei mir sehr leise. Um ein winziges Geräusch, von der sich drehenden Ölscheibe zu hören, muss man schon bis auf 5cm mit dem Ohr ran gehen. Selbst bei den monentanen Temperaturen von ca. 15°C, im Schlafzimmer, ist die Aufwärmphase sehr kurz. Der Projektor zaubert tolle Bilder an die Wand und ist auch für Kinder sicher beruhigender, als diese ratternden, sich drehenden Spieluhren, die es auch zu kaufen gibt. Der Preis ist zwar relativ hoch, da es tatsächlich nur ein Plastikgehäuse ist, aber mir is er es wert. Außerdem is es eine günstigee Alternative zu anderen Ölradprojektoren, die doch sehr viel teurer sind. Ich hab es an eine Zeitschaltuhr mit Countdownfunktion gehängt, sodass es ich nach einer festen Zeit abschaltet und man gemütlich dabei einschlafen kann...

Projecteur reçu très rapidement. Bien avant la date indiqué sur la commande. Très satisfaite de ce produit qui fait fureur en crèche comme à la maison. Moments de détente assurés pour les petits et grands.

J'attendais cet article avec impatience. Mais j'ai été très déçue. Il est impossible de faire la netteté sur toute l'image. La projection est assez petite et les fluides du disque ne coulent pas vraiment bien. A l'ouverture j'ai cru que quelque chose manquait. L'appareil est léger, il a l'air fragile. Retour chez le fournisseur...

Mittlerweile mein zweiter Projektor. Tolle Idee, sieht auch gut aus, aber die Qualität ist absolut unterirdisch. Den ersten Projektor musste ich entsorgen, da das Rädchen viel zu laut gedreht hat, was extrem störend war. Jetzt (Kauf erst im Oktober 2024) funktioniert das Rädchen (um die sog. "Lava-Effektscheibe" zu drehen) gar nicht mehr. Für 160 € eine absolute Frechheit, hier wird billigste China-Ware völlig überteuert verkauft.

Der Projektor erfüllt seinen Zweck, funktioniert wie beschrieben und ist leicht zu bedienen. Es lassen sich mit erhältlichen Farb-und Motivscheiben schöne Motive an Wand oder Decke Projizieren die zum Entspannen einladen. Wir haben das Teil für das Zimmer unserer Tochter angeschafft. Die Kleine ist behindert, überaus agil und manchmal schwer ruhig zu bekommen. Bei sowas kann sie aber gut relaxen und findet die Motive sehr interessant. Daher ist das vielleicht ein Tip für Eltern in ähnlicher Situation. Aber..... Im Verhältnis zur technischen Gesamtausführung, ist der Preis sehr hoch gegriffen. Das Plastikgehäuse wirkt vom Material her nicht sehr hochwertig, um nicht zu sagen billig. Wie Robust es auf Dauer ist wird sich zeigen. Das mit dem Preis gilt auch für die Scheiben, die an sich recht schön sind. Leider haben wir etwas Vergleichbares nicht gefunden. Daher als abschließende Festestellung, interessantes Gerät, wenn man mit dem Preis leben kann.
