A noticeable POP in speed! Pricing a bit steep at $67.99 (1600 is 7+ years old as-of 2021)
I used this to upgrade an 8+ year-old PC from 8GB to 16GB, running Windows 10. NICE and noticeable bump in performance, not only from the perspective of the added RAM capacity, but also the CL9 latency was a 28.5% speed improvement over the CL12 of the previous RAM. My SSD 'felt faster' due to improved caching via Samsung Magician "Rapid Mode", and everything was just better. I am a bit of power user, even if I'm running an 8yo PC.24+ hours in, system has been perfectly stable, no issues with RAM. Patriot is a brand I trust, based on prior experience with their products.Features Rating info:Easy to install - 5 stars, but I'm an experienced PC tech. Doing this yourself is easy enough, if you know about things like static electricity, dust, and 'other'. If you don't know how to upgrade RAM, find some YouTube videos about it.For gaming - Yes, I am a gamer. Things will run faster because of the extra RAM. For FUN, I did create a RAMDISK (4 GB), and loaded the notoriously slow (beautiful otherwise) game GOTHIC 3 (2006) onto the RAMDISK. Teleporting, and other things were SUPER FAST AND SMOOTH!!Value for money - 2 stars might be generous. PC3-12800 RAM is somewhat outdated, especially for gaming PCs. It should not be priced where it is right now ($67.99), and really should be down around the $39.99/$49.99 price point. I probably should've bought faster DDR3 RAM, used it for now, then moved it to a semi-newer PC in the future.Personal note: I AM due for a new PC, just been holding off, just a bit too long due to Covid-19. Stay healthy, folks!

I love my Patriot Viper 3 DDR3 memory!
I love my Patriot Viper 3 DDR3 memory! Upgrading my RAM significantly improved my computing performance. My software runs smoothly on Windows 10 Pro without freezing, even when using a large number of internet browser tabs and numerous other software programs running in the background. Everything now operates remarkably well! I highly recommend this memory.

Just works
I am sitting at a perfectly good PC and it has been good since I built it in 2014.It had 16 GB of fast ram and up until recently it was never not enough.I have been playing a long time game(since 2004) and some aspects of it required I run a java based client.I just started playing some parts of it very differently. It requires(I require) running 8 of these java clients at the same time and on a normal day in day out thing they all used 4 GB memory, but this new thing I'm doing spiked that up to 1.5 or more GB for each machine.Win10 and my PC got very upset when I used up all the 10 GB it had reserved and asked for ram beyond that. It would hard lock to the point I had to unplug the thing and it left my game sessions in a mess when trying to pick up where things went belly up.So I was reduced to playing half of these machines, meaning a day of this game took twice as long(4 hours). My old ASUS board is very forgiving, and I might have been fine tossing in the no-name(supposedly 2400 speed) Chinese ram you will see advertised here along with the Patriot ram.But you just know almost with a certainty this ram will snap in and boot up. It did, and setting the XMP was a piece of cake and I'd be shocked if I could not bump it up to the next speed level with some minor timing tweaks. The best $50(I bought two kits for 32 GB) I've spent on this old PC in years.

A truly good value
I really liked the ease of installation. I plugged them in and they worked without a problem. They proved stable and reliable when I ran a stress test. Most importantly they made my daughter happy because it made her work a bit easier!

Upgraded a 10 Year Old Computer
I bought myself a new desktop. But my old desktop wasn't ready for the trash. Having a 2 TB Hard Drive, I thought it would be a waste to NOT try to update and upgrade a bit and give to my daughter for gaming. So, I deleted the partitions and started with a clean install of Windows 10 (computer was too old for Windows 11). The OLD RAM was 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 DIMM 1600Mz. So, I had 4 slots and could only max out at 32GB (4 x 8GB). I was worried about the new RAM being UDIMM. It worked with NO problems! I think it worked because I did not combine DIMM and UDIMM together. I honestly couldn't find just DIMM and all my research pointed to replacing all slots. Luckily my computer recognized the new RAM and I didn't have to go in the BIOS and have to do anything there. So, now my old computer is faster and better than my new desktop. LOL :)

Good Price on RAM, great product
I purchased 32gb of DDR3 SDRAM (4x8gb) and installed it in my old Dell XPS 8500, doubling the 16gb the computer came with. Installation took all of 5 minutes and it was a simple plug and play operation. I like the built in heat sink that is part of each memory stick. Ordered on Saturday, received on Monday. Works great in conjunction with a new 1tb SSD drive. Between the two upgrades, my computer is faster than ever.

Legit
So far so good, upgraded from Corsair Vengeance 16GB 1600mhz to Viper 1866 so i can have a fully matching 32GB kit, just ordered another kit as it works perfectly at the rated speed. Do keep in mind that it might default to 1333 or 1600 depending on your motherboard, so using XMP and setting the speed to 1866 may be required as i had to do.
