Buy Superman by Peter J. Tomasi and Patrick Gleason Omnibus (Superman Omnibus) 1 by Peter J. Tomasi, Patrick Gleason (ISBN: 9781779509253) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: One of the BEST Runs on Superman. - This Omnibus collects the Superman run from DC Rebirth (2016) where we are re-introduced to a Married Superman who is also the Parent of DCs newest Superboy (who was introduced in the 2nd issue of the DC Convergence: Superman mini-series). The Artwork and Writiing is top-notch and doesn't pander to the trash that followed it when DC poached Brian Michael Bendis (Daredevil & Ultimate Spider-Man) from their cross-town rivals at MARVEL. If you like this I would also recommend the DC Rebirth: Action Comics run (which to my knowledge is available as a series of Deluxe Editions but not an Omnibus) by Dan Jurgens (the mastermind behind many of the 90s biggest storylines and 1992s the Death of Superman). My only gripe is I ordered a first print and recieved a third Print!! Review: Superman and son - Great massive chunk of superman pre action comics 1000 , I started reading superman from 1000 so these stories are just from before then , there's also an action comics omnibus that will run along side this due later in 2025 , the book is lovely and the paper stock is matt

Pretty solid, has a couple eh's
It's a good omni, the dynamic of father and son are great, the art is pretty good but i'd say it's more generic and marvel looking sometimes, it has a couple chapters that dragged and kinda made me want to put the book down that being mainly this random teen titans run with some future multiverse stuff that just did not blend or make sense because I don't have the ones it follows from. After the couple meh stories it goes into a couple good ones to end on, but it does just feel more generic towards the end

Good for those interested in starting superman
As a character who is often viewed as “difficult” or “boring” to get into, this definitely feels like a collection that would get doubters on board with superman comics. You don’t get hung up with his origin, elements such as Jon and this not being the new 52 superman yet still having to interact with said iteration’s friends and enemies keep your interest whether you’re familiar with the lore of the character or not all while having consistently good art.

My superman was the post crisis superman I grew up reading his stories. Saw his origin retold in "the man of steel" mini series by byrne. Saw him grow into the premiere superhero of earth. Saw him meet lex, the untouchable rich business man who vowed to destroy superman. Saw him meet lois and eventually married her. Saw him go into exile, travel the stars, become a gladiator on warworld. Saw him fight doomsday and die, but eventually came back. And many more stories. Then flashpoint happened... Then all that went away. It never happened. And the "new 52" started and now there was a new younger superman for a new generation. It wasnt my superman and I stopped reading superman for the most part. Then peter tomasi and Patrick Gleason came around and decided "ok screw this. The post crisis superman survived!!!" And he has just been hiding behind the scenes this whole time!!! With his wife lois!!! And his young son, Jonathan Kent. This omnibus collects these stories about the superman family. And it's great! The kid who read superman growing up, has now grown up and now reading a mature superdad who has also grown up. It's an amazing read. And I highly reccomend it for anyone who was a fan of post crisis/pre 52 superman. You will love it. And jon/superboy is a character that you will adore. Seriously. The only flaw this book has, if you can call it a flaw, is that this series went along side another superman series by dan jurgens. Action comics. And to get the complete story, you need to read it. Like this omnibus has a storyline called "superman beyond. It's a crossover with action comics. If you havent read the previous stories in action comics, you will be a bit lost. My hope is we get an "superman by Dan jurgens" omnibus. It will go perfectly with this one. But all in all? This is a must buy. One of the best superman arcs out there. And a great introduction to the great character of jon Kent. Then bendis took over the book and wrecked everything. But that another story for another time.

This was supposed to be a replacement for the first book. The dust jacket was torn from all four sides, and the book is dented and bent in various places. It was in a worse condition than the first one.
