I am new to this brand, and just bought the original version of this dry oil. I've heard about it for years and always wanted to try it but always thought it was a little out of my price range. I noticed the price dropped recently so I ordered it the other day. I like it a lot, although the fragrance is a little intense at first. It settles down nicely, though. So, I wanted to try this floral version too. I was a bit hesitant because some of the reviews mentioned a strong, linear, rose scent. And some of the reviews also seemed to indicate that the fragrance smelled a little old fashioned. Well, to me this oil has a light and very refreshing floral/citrusy fragrance that seems modern and isn't overpowering at all. The brand website describes the scent as grapefruit, magnolia and musk which seems spot on. No rose, nothing that smells unpleasant. I wonder if the formula has changed or some customers are receiving older stock. In any event, the oil I received smells nice and it goes on easily and leaves my skin feeling very soft and smooth. As a dry oil, it sinks right in and it feels very pampering with no oily feel + I just need a little bit. Theysprayer makes it easy to apply. The bottle is fairly heavy glass which is nice, but the sprayer and cap are kind of cheap and flimsy. I'm glad I tried this oil and I am finding it perfect for me to use right now in the heat of summer. I'll save the original version with its slightly heavier scent for fall.

Absolutely love the smell and feeling on my skin, face and hair. I’m very picky with scents because I barely use perfumes and I’m very allergic to them, but this one is so good and kind to me. The best part is that it’s filled with good ingredients and natural scents only. In love with this product!

got my first bottle of huile prodigieuse in Paris and have been in love ever since! i switch back and forth between the original scent and the floral, both are wonderful and smell amazing. i mostly use it as a hair oil, but also face & body. it’s my favorite hair oil and i really think it makes a difference! it’s perfect for fine hair since it’s a dry oil, it’s not heavy and doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily. after washing, i use leave in conditioner, and let my hair air dry. then before bed, i oil my ends and throw it in a braid overnight!

It's a luxurious French rose oil and it's nice and dry on the skin. I only deduct one star because I think it's a little too scented... It's almost so strong it can give me a headache

It is a lovely clean, light fragrance that makes me feel very luxurious after a shower. I did receive mine without a box and unsealed. Not sure if that is how they come but just thought that was weird.

Nuxe makes quality dry oils, but this one missed the mark, in terms of the smell, anyway. It was described as grapefruit, magnolia, and white musk. In fact it’s called Florale. I could smell no floral at all. It smelled like a dryer sheet. It also strongly reminded me of Bath and Body’s Cotton Blossom. It was uncanny. If you like this smell, then this dry oil is for you. It had all the normal traits of a Nuxe oil; it left the skin soft, dewy, and glowing. It would be a good value for money as a little goes a long way. I ADORE the smell of the original, which is very floral smelling, but I couldn’t get past the inaccuracy of the smell of this oil. It wasn’t unpleasant, just inaccurate and not what I was looking for. Can’t recommend based on the smell.

I love this body oil. First time I purchased it was in Paris and have since been purchasing it on Amazon I love the smell. It’s light, fresh and feminine. The fragrance lasts all day. It’s keeps my skin feeling baby soft. If I need a bit more moisture I use a non scented lotion and spray this into it. absorbs well, not sticky.

I was looking for a dry body oil for my wedding day as I wanted my skin to be glowing, this product delivered and more. It smells SO GOOD in the most natural way possible, it doesn't smell synthetic. The oil applies on oily but it eventually absorbs and the skin does not feel sticky or oily I promise you. I wore a white wedding dress as well so I was panicking a bit as some oils stain clothing, but this doesn't. You can also use this on your hair omg I love a 2-in-1 product, it smells so good did I already mention that? haha I am so happy! I might add this as a staple to my dressing table

This smells incredible! Super fresh scent and works beautifully for hair and body. If you're sensitive to smells, I wouldn't recommend using it for your face. The product itself is fine to use for the face, but it's very fragrant. The oil is light enough that it doesn't feel sticky, and doesn't weigh your hair down. It's also good as perfume since it has a nice scent, and it is a dry oil so it gets absorbed into your skin.
