Great fit and good price
Product worked great but was tough to install. It is doing a great job.

Fits Properly
It works as it should but will likely fail in a shorter than satisfactory timeframe, thanks Kohler. Definitely do not use any chlorine-based tank chemical as it will destroy the gasket reasonably quick. Definitely a pain to install, but as others have suggested, like I did, put it between two pieces of tile, use a couple of C-clamps, put it in the freezer for a day as it makes it much easier to install. Do yourself a favor, and prior to putting the gasket in place understand the easiest position to get the assembly in place because it really is about finding that ideal position to start, insert and turn into place.

watch the trick on YouTube
It's imperative to watch the trick about smashing it and sticking it in the freezer for some time before trying to install it. Otherwise it's extremely difficult to get mounted properly, unless you really like bloody knuckles.

Worked Like a Charm
Had to replace 15 year old gasket as it was disintegrating. The edges had turned to mush and it was leaking. Did not have any problems installing as others have indicated. . Three tries and it was on. It took about 5 minutes. I did mark the wall of the tank with a pencil beforehand with a line mirroring the angle of the top edge of the plastic flush valve while it was positioned correctly and corresponded to the insertion notches on the hole in the tank. Was then able to line up valve with gasket at the correct angle from the start so that I could focus on pressing them into the hole in the tank. Worked very smoothly.

works great
You must do as others have done & freeze the gasket and compress it between 2 blocks of wood & Compressed . Very simple to do!

Perfect fit!
Helpful tip, squeeze and squish and clamp between two tiles or boards and freeze for 24 hrs for easy installation. Fits perfectly, no leaks!
