Fluval G6 Tri-EX Cartridge

I have three Fluval G6s (125G, 150G, 210G freshwater) and one G3 (38G saltwater). These cartridges make it so easy to change the filters compared to my Fluval 405 and FX5. One minute compared to 30 minutes. I replace the Tri-Ex cartridge in each filter every 6 weeks. I rotate and clean the filter cartridges every seven days.Each of my tanks has a Fluval G series and a traditional big canister filter. The Fluval filters and cartridges are so easy to replace and take no time (one minute) to replace. No mess, no bother, so easy.I highly recommend the Fluval G series. They look great and are so easy to maintain without all the mess.

Love this product as it works with my filter - I’m too lazy to open these and manually refill them - which is an option - only downside is price. I wait to buy them in bulk, when on sale. Great product though if you have the G series, just wait for the price to drop on Amazon

empty it and refill. change the chemical components in filter once every 4months depending if you put something else than what came in it.easy to install and refill.well worth it!when this one is worn out I will get another.

Doesn't and isn't recommended for salt water tanks. The nitrate portion just becomes a blow bye! I am sure it works great for fresh water though!

The Fluval G6 does a great job and part of the reason for that is the Tri-Ex Cartridge. It is very easy to install.

These cartridges are essential if you have the Fluval G6 filter however the manufacturer recommends you change them out every couple of weeks! That would run you nearly $600 a year! That's more than the cost of the filter itself! I change them out every 4 1/2 weeks or so and my 50 gallon tank and fish seem to be doing just fine. I've read about other people who keep the cartridge cage and fill it with other product but I haven't tried that yet. Giving 3 stars only due to high price.

Funktioniert bei unserem 350 Liter Aquarium sehr effizient.

Can't say how good these are yet due to the fact the filter is brand new so dealing with new tank syndrome again.... I also suggest opening the container up and washing the small beads inside untill water is clear, otherwise you will get the worst white cloudy water you have ever seen.

Dieser Filter wurde mit Sicherheit aus irgendeiner vergessenen und verstaubten Ecke heraus gekramt. Will gar nicht wissen wie alt das Teil ist. Da gehe ich in Zukunft lieber wieder in den Laden!Dieser Verkäufer wird bei mir seinen Dreck nicht mehr los !
