Gloo Square Glue Stick

This is a very nice, strong, smooth applying glue stick. Holds card making paper together very well. So far, (6 months) it has not turned gummy or gooey. Better than most others I have used. Highly recommend.

LOVE THE SHAPE!!!! Why is the standard glue stick round? Worst design ever! It rolls off the desk and picks up all the linty bits when it hits the floor. The glue itself is great. Seems strong on a variety of papers. Japanese stationary products are the best.

This is my new favorite glue stick! Works great on paper projects. I really like the square applicator and makes it easier to apply to paper. Definitely buying again.

The shape of this glue stick makes it easy to glue papers all the way out to the edges without mess. Also it is not generally messy like purple glue sticks I've used - the right amount it easy to apply. The only reason I took one star off is that this glue stick is - weirdly - lightly scented. Do I need a scented glue stick? No, I don't. I'm used to the scent now and the effectiveness of the glue stick is worth putting up with the scent, but I tried to give one to a friend and she wouldn't take it because of the scent. Weird, to put a scent in a glue stick. Still, it is a good glue stick and I do recommend it. I do a lot of collage work and I make a lot of glue books, and I prefer this over the purple glue sticks and the other large round ones, which I find way more messy.

First off, someone mentioned this smells "lemony"? No, not at all. It has a baby powder scent! Anyways, this stuff is AWESOME for print beds. I've used Elmer's and Avery, and both leave a noticeable layer of glue. You can feel the...height?...differences due to clumping. Not Gloo. This stuff went on super smooth, and even with applying two layers, is smooth and flat after drying. Bed adhesion is no concern with this stuff. Oh, it washes off pretty easy with Dawn dish soap too.

It costs a little more but it's very easy to use, the square shape makes getting into corners easier, and it smells kind of nice! Everything I've used it on has stuck well.

I am sensitive to smells and these have a very strong scent. It is not unpleasant but I can’t use them because it’s too strong. Too bad, I really was looking forward to them. If you’re sensitive to smells I would not recommend purchasing these!
