Kimaru NP-FW50 AC Power Supply Adapter

The Kimaru AC-PW20 Dummy Battery Kit has made my live-streaming set way much easier. I fret continuously with having my camera run out of battery mid-streaming, which is utterly demotivating and also stressful to all streaming workflows. With that being said, the dummy battery gives me nonstop power for as long as I need. What does everyone love about it? Uninterrupted Power Supply-The adapter gives my camera nonstop power for every single session, allowing me to continue operations without the need to change its batteries. I can stream for hours without any worry. Sturdy and Optimally Convenient-It's robust enough when powered and allows ensures constant watching of battery levels. Plug and play is the name of the setup, and it fits perfectly in my Sony camera. Worth it! The dummy battery is worth every cent of what you would pay for it because of the good peace of mind and convenience it affords you. It's firm and solidly built, and I feel like it will last for ages. Great For Streaming-If you're a live streamer, this is a must-have power adapter. I have used this every single day on my Sony camera. Sometimes I’ve left it on for 24 hours. It’s a damn life saver. It worked perfect. Fit perfect. I would have paid 3x as much. lol no further!

Amazing product has withstanded really rough conditions

I read all the reviews for the different brands offering the same product. I was particularly interested in the reviews for the Sony dummy battery as I have a Sony 6400 and my experience with non-Sony battery products tend to lose their charge over a time period to less than 100%. whereas my Sony battery is still 100% when I charge it. So regarding the Dummy, I checked the Sony product 1st, and the most of complaints in their reviews were about the price of @$100, which I tend to agree is too expensive. I then decided to review the other options from different non-name brands most of which were negative, they didn't last long and stopped working etc. However I noticed the Kimaru was an Amazon choice product and it was only $20, the reviews were 80% positive, so I decided to gamble the $20 and ordered it. I'm glad I did, it works fantastic, last week I accidentally left it on overnight for 24 hrs and it still works and wasn't even hot when I realized it was still on the next day. I've had this product for 2 months with no problems. So it is worth it, but personally, I will only buy Sony when it comes to rechargeable batteries.

This direct adapter has worked perfectly with my Sony a7rii, since sometimes I record videos inside my house and I don't need batteries and this option has been an excellent solution.

Excelente, solo que en la A6100 si la usas para grabar o capturar pantalla, reporta calentamiento en poco tiempo

This product is great!👍🏼 Functions perfectly out of the box with my a6400 body. Is very easy to use and a great bargain for the functionality and benefits it will bring you at any of your photographic events. Usually at weddings and sweet 16th events you have a time when you will be stationary in a corner of the room taking posed photos of the family and friends on whatever background you prepared earlier for the event. That is when this product comes in handy. You can charge your batteries with your charger while taking the photos using this device. Another use will be if your batteries are already drained. You can work with this device while charging. The instruction manual is very useful and includes photos and descriptions for different camera models on how to installed and use. I recommend this product 👌🏼

I picked this up to power my Sony camera for longer sessions, and while it does work, the reliability has been an issue. When everything stays connected, it powers the camera just fine. The problem is the dummy battery connection—it tends to slightly disconnect, which causes the camera to shut off. I’ve had to reseat the battery multiple times to get a stable connection, which gets frustrating, especially during longer use or when recording. The setup itself is simple, but the inconsistency makes it hard to rely on it for anything important. It might work for light use, but for streaming or longer sessions, I expected something more stable. Overall, it does the job when it works, but the connection issue makes it difficult to recommend.

At this price point I was skeptical on how well it would work. So far so GREAT! The Sony A7ii battery is absolute garbage and I hated when I'd only get 40mins of power. Now... I can shoot FOREVER. Easily top 10 buys of 2023 for me!

I like that it’s light weight so it’s easy to carry, and it had a really long cable if your wall outlet is far then this can be really helpful.
