*dog does not come with purchase* this is buy far the best, most adult purchase I've made in my 26 years on this earth. I live in an apartment so I do not have the choice (or money) to install a real fireplace. I made a promise to my dog when I first adopted her that some day her mother would get a well paying job and finally be able to provide her the luxurious life she deserves. The reality is I'm still working just above minimum wage and she's not going to live forever. So this Wood Corner Fireplace was a purchase that helped skip us ahead a few years. Now she can enjoy the warmth and comfort of a fireplace and I can enjoy the extra storage space on the sides. This product has really helped my family reach our dreams.

I guess ordering a large piece of furniture is risky. The box is very heavy so you're pretty much at the mercy at the delivery person to not push it out of the back of the truck and risk it having a broken piece....which is what happened to us. Not blaming the delivery person - it could have been a packaging error - but when it got to us several pieces inside were broken, scratched, or chipped. Amazon quickly responded to my claim! It was picked up and a new one arrived in days. All pieces were perfect. Once we starting putting it together we realized we were missing one piece. This time I had to contact the manufacturer and wait about a week to have the piece mailed to us. However, lo and behold, it is together and it looks really nice. My suggestion would be to package this heavy of an item in at least 2 boxes.

LOVE this! It fits my 55 inch tv (pedestal type) I didn't even think to get a corner tv stand with the fireplace but when I saw this I thought it was a great idea. The "fire"looks pretty good.It was chilly this morning and it heated the room up really quick. It takes up half the space of my other tv stand. The only down side is there is only one shelf in front.I had to put my DVD player on top of my cable box. The side shelves are behind glass doors. Looks like quite a few dvds could be stored in them. A lot of functionality in a small space. As far as installation my daughter did it. She is really good at putting things together and did it in a couple hours. It was quite detailed. I probably would have got frustrated had I done it myself. I hate putting things together.

After reading other reviews about how long the build was I took a chance because of the mini "fireplace" look it has. This is for an average sized bedroom so the small heater is perfect. The build doing it myself did take me some time but I was watching tv so it wasn't a problem. Took about 3 hrs or so only due to the fact 1. one of the front boards near the fireplace was stained wrong, 2. the screws were not fitting into the pre-drilled holes meant for it. and 3. when screwing the fireplace into place it does not have pre-drilled holes like all the rest of the pieces needed to be built. It took me some time to drill them in myself with no drill since the manual says it isn't needed. The customer service took forever to respond and my order couldn't be found. IF you don't mind waiting about 2 weeks period for responses and replacements I went through Amazon instead. The manual must have been for a previous version since it shows small knobs not handles as shown in picture. Two of the items sent to build the product are never even used (T/U and X). All in all I am happy with my purchase despite the horrible service from the manufacturer and it does match my furniture as well as look amazing with my knick knacks and ps4 connected. My tv is a 50' and I have my PS4 Pro where any player can fit. I chose to leave the back piece meant to cover the space open so my system can have better breathing room so it doesn't overheat. You can't even tell the piece isn't there since it has further space back. There is still room where I put both my controllers inside the space as well. You can have the fireplace lit by itself if you choose without having the heater on which gives a nice ambiance. I also love that the cabinets can be moved to the height of items you want to display inside.

By far favorite piece of furniture in the house.Assembly was a pain in the butt, instructions were fairly clear with a few confusing spots but other than that easy to follow. For the price it’s great. I love it. It puts off decent heat and the fake flames are super relaxing to watch. For me, this was worth every penny. And it’s pretty sturdy which is a bonus.

I love this now that it’s put together but it was by far the MOST difficult piece of furniture I’ve ever assembled. There are a lot of pieces and a lot of hardware. The directions and illustrations aren’t quite as clear as we would have liked.

This thing is amazing. Great quality, easy to put together. The only thing is it takes about an hour to piece together. We have a 50 inch tv on ours and it looks really nice. My son loves the colors on the fireplace and the heater works great. It's nice that you have the option to have the heat on or off.

I ordered this unit a few weeks back, Prime delivery does not exist for it. To start It does not state anywhere that they use press board and NOT wood. The instructions are confusing to say the least. All this pressed wood is heavy and not very nice. If I would have known I would have opted for something much better. The only good thing is the fireplace insert from Duraflame, which is very good, nice to watch and good heat output.Unfortunately we already started to assemble when I noticed the press boards. My suggestion is spend a bit more and get something made out of wood. I am NOT very happy with this unit at all, but am stuck as I can not return it, Styrofoam and packing is gone and some of the pieces had to be glued together. The unit is not sturdy, some of the hardware is NOT locking properly. The company should be made to state that they do not use wood, but that cheap pressboard.!!

The furniture looks good, but the reason for my low rating is that it came with two problems. First off there was one of the leg support had a whole in the wrong location so it wouldnt snap into place to hold itself wich i was lucky to be able to use a drill and drill the hole myself to make it fit almost perfect and second it that it was missing the screws to mount the fireplace wich i had to go to a store and by screws that would do the job. Reason i didnt send back is i didnt want to deal with delivery

its a great piece of furniture, especially since stores, dont sell corner tc stands any more. but the fireplace does heat a big area.

The pieces were scratch some had been wet and no the box was perfectly fine it was from the manufacture one board the holes at the top were covered over most of the pieces were dirty with dirt like it had been in the mud Will never buy from the company again the only good thing was the customer service employee was very helpful but the cabinet was a disaster to put together will never promote thi# company
