Great interactive game
My grandkids, 6 and 8, loved this game. It was a good way to foster interaction between the adults and kids. Set up seemed pretty easy. I recommend this game.

Excellent Family Game Night Purchase!
This game is so much fun for family game night. My son received the game for Christmas, and we brought it over to his grandparents to play after dinner. We played for hours, everyone enjoyed playing, including my 85 year old grandfather. The game was super easy to set up, right out of the box. We used airplay to connect to the tv, our only problem was we played for so many hours that the phone we were connected to kept dying. I highly recommend this game. We had twelve people playing on teams from ages 8-85!

Great Gift for all Genders and Ages!
I always keep one of these in my closet to have on hand as a birthday gift. It never fails to impress people. It's good for girls and boys of all ages, it's reasonably priced and perfectly sized for a medium gift bag. I have a 5 year old girl and a 9 year old boy and I've been giving this game as gifts for years.

Interesting idea whose time has not yet come
Ok, but finicky. As other reviews state, do not expect to take this out and start playing with it right away. Before you buy, make sure the devices you intend to use to play are compatible with the game and with each other. Because only so many people can crowd around an iPhone, if you don’t have a smart device with a good sized screen (like a large iPad), you will need to use a smart TV, or go through some other accessory hooked to your TV (like an Apple TV box), in order to mirror your device so that you can comfortably play with multiple people. With some device-TV combinations this will create a lag that can be a bit unpleasant and may be a little unsettling for some littler kids while trying to draw. After downloading the game’s app you will quickly find that things like light reflecting off a picture frame, iPhone screens, your TV etc. will register as strokes of the light pen. These will create a spaghetti of squiggly lines on screen. The first challenge of this game is finding a place in your home to play. You will need really good indirect lighting, absolutely no glare, and no green in the background. Also, anyone wearing any green will have to stay out of the camera’s field of view and will be unable to play while they have the color on. The game materials you receive are not terrible but not great. The light pen is fairly low quality, and I can foresee a future in which I will be wiring up a flashlight with green and red LEDs because the light pen broke. The word cards are pretty good. A storage case, or even just a decent cardboard box, would have been a very welcome addition. (If you have kids you will know what I mean.) The actual game-play, as distinct from the technical aspects, for this version of Pictionary is good. There are ways to balance it for kids to play against adults, including adjustable timers that allow more time to draw for kids depending on their developmental level, and more challenging words for adults to convey. The directions suggest that kids play in “selfie mode” watching themselves in the device or on a TV, which is a good thing. It’s actually pretty difficult to draw a picture in midair with a pointer that leaves no physical trace! Heh. Being able to draw in the air is a cool concept but does not change the game itself. The novelty of it might be fun for a planned activity at a party or gathering, but if you do plan to use it that way, you should probably set it up and test it very thoroughly prior to that event (and also make sure your invitations include instructions not to wear green). The effort and time needed to overcome the technological problems and other hurdles, so that it operates properly, make it unlikely a family (if anything like ours) will use it on the spur of the moment when looking for something to play with the kids on a rainy afternoon. Overall, this seems to me like a game concept whose technical time has not yet come. The fact the pictures one draws in open 3 dimensional space are projected as 2 dimensional images on a screen is a little disappointing when you realize it. This means that the added wrinkle of drawing in the air without being able to see your strokes is essentially the same challenge as drawing on a whiteboard or easel while blindfolded. I can imagine a version in AR or VR that would be interesting though! Bottom line: For now, you are better off playing Pictionary with pen and paper. The gimmick of being able to draw in the air is nice but not a paradigm changing element. The novelty doesn’t outweigh the cost in effort to get it to operate properly.

Very fun
Works exactly as the descriptions says. Pictionary is not easy to do and everyone's drawing always suck even on paper. At least this way we can blame it on not being able to see our own drawings. Really enjoying playing this game with the kids, will be keeping this one for awhile

Great game with lots of laughs. Only 1 downside.
This is great game the only down side is the devices you can use. Only the right brand of smart TVs can it be used with, unfortunately none of ours were. That’s the only reason for not giving it 5⭐️. They need to make this compatible with any device. But was easy for the kiddos to learn, including my 3 yr old granddaughter. Definitely fun for the whole family!!! Would definitely recommend. My iPad is what we had to use to play that was the “fun” part. Other than that it’s a great fun family game!

Fun family game!
I bought this to play at Christmas. I have grand children 6-10 so I wanted something they could all play. We played it as a family of 12 everyone had a blast! The kids liked the pictures to help understand the word if they weren't sure about the item. We did not use the app for your phone as I think that would have been harder to see. I had easel paper I taped a yard stick to the back leaned it against a table. I would highly recommend this game for a fun family night!

I like that you have more than One option, as some are tough to draw in air, as harder to have more detailed drawing. Lines are thick. Overall good family fun game.

The magic pen doesn’t work properly so none of us (including adults) could actually draw anything properly
