Valspar 4432-07 Transport Yellow Tractor and Implement Paint - 1 Quart

This paint is the best! We have repaint about 5 pieces of construction equipment with great results. Just make sure you use the Valspar Hardner and be sure to thin the paint. We use laquer thinner and a 1.3 spray tip and have had no issues. This paint goes on smooth with good coverage and hardly ever have an issue with runs or sags. Also a good high quality HVLP Spray gun helps your work look like it was done by a professional. It is amazing paint for under $50 a gallon. I have attached a couple of pictures of our work.

I decided to try this to paint my "Track Car".....this stuff is amazing! Goes on easy with even an old Binks # 7 spray gun when thinned a bit. It flows well and covers well. Within 24 hours it feels ready to go. The gloss is also impressive. Looks like my Street/Track car will catch attention with it's new paint.

I use the spray can to touch up only, I use the regular paint/hardener mostly. I run a pedicabs business in Houston (Ready2RollPedicabs) and have used Valspar paint for a few years now. I use to use other products such as professional car paints to Rust-o-ileum. I like this paint because is resistant to chemicals backing it down, like hydraulic fluid/ break fluid offend does to paint making it peel off.... It dries quick to the touch, the spray paint dries in minutes, the regular paint/hardener about 4-8 hours and fully hardens 12-48 hours, unlike Rust-o-ileum. Rust-o-ileum can take a month to fully cure and the paint remains gummy, variable to scrapes. The paint looks really good and can be used on fiberglass, which my pedicabs carriage is made of. It is very durable and doesn't crack on flimsily surfaces such as fiberglass. I hope Valspar never stops making this product, it is really remarkable product and is price makes it the best bang for your dollar. It is very hard to find this product, I have only found it on Amazon.

so far i have tried gloss black and john deere yellow. one gallon each. the black was great. very shinny and hard, goes on well. same with the yellow except for one problem. there seems to be some white pigment separating out before it hardens. so in slightly thicker spots there is occasionally white pigment visible when dry. i used the correct amount of hardener and less than the maximum amount of vm&p naptha. still looks good and problem could be fixed with thinner coats

Great paint so it gets 5 stars. Packaging is an entirely different story. First can was been opened due to damage from shipping. These heavy 1 gallon cans are loosely packed in a light weight box with a couple of air filled plastic bags. First can came with the lid off and paint spilled in plastic bags and two USPS plastic bins. The replacement can came in the same packaging with a dent near the lid with a small amount of paint seeping out.

Easy to thin and apply with spray gun. Love the gloss level. Looks great on my old tractor. The container was opened in shipment. Half was spilled out. We need to find a better way to ship paint. This happened twice.

Wow this color matched up as good as it gets. Painted our 63 Fordson Super Major and the color looks great and with no runs. No problem getting it thinned just right to spray with and I'm certainly no pro at spray painting but it worked great with me and saved me a ton of money. Haven't put her in any tractor shows yet but she 's a beauty. Great price I might add compared to other paint that is made for painting equipment.

I ordered this to paint a used implement I purchased for my Kubota tractor last fall. Many Kubota owners have said this is a very close match at a fraction of the price. I finally got around to sanding and prepping for the paint. I can definitely say that this is very close to the Kubota paint color. The paint applied very smooth and has a thickness to it. I am very pleased with the overall application. It required two coats to remove the brush marks, but virtually everything nowadays requires a second coat if you want good results. Only time will tell how this withstands the elements over the years, but so far so good. I highly recommend this paint.
