My grandson lives on a dirt road. Does this work well on gravel roads?

I used to live on a gravel road, so I understand. It should work ok, but not great. I don't think you'll find anything out there that will work better though. It definitely will be better than one of the tricycles with plastic tires!

What are the tires made of?

They're rubber tires with an innertube, like a bicycle. I bought my trike in 2008 for my daughter and my third child is now riding it. The tires are still good, and I bought my first replacement innertube for it about a week ago.

Why does the easy steer cost less than the classic? I can't tell the difference. It seems like It better option but the price is significantly lower.

You might check again, there’s quite a bit of difference.
